I took my family there for lunch and the bill for 5 of us with NO drinks only soda was close to 100.00.  The service was terrible.  We complained to the manager and he did take some off the bill but that is not the answer for poor service.  Our waitress never cleared the soup bowls before bringing our lunch and never checked back to see if we needed anything.  I will NEVER go there again.

For being located next to a dry town, this place must make a killing.  Typical beer and wing joint.  Had the BBQ Chipotle wings and a blue moon, hit the late night spot for me.

I went into this place with low expectations, but left a big fan.  I figured since they served alcohol just outside of Ocean City, they'd probably just concentrate on that angle and the food quality would be lacking.  That couldn't have been further from the truth.  The crab cakes were great.  Very flavorful, mostly meat and served with potatoes and corn on the cob.  Loved the rolls as well.  Sort of like a biscuit with oil and garlic.  My daughter loved the Mac and Cheese.  Clearly home made with good flavor and texture. A great break from the dull restaurant scene in Ocean City.  The service is great too.  Be prepared for a 15-30 minute wait for larger groups.

Good value for the location.  Food is pretty good and they actually have a decent selection of vegetarian/vegan options for the type of restaurant. Beer selection is decent.

Great bar and restaurant!!  I recenlty ate there and there was an appetizer of tuna seared nachos with a wasabi sauce on special - AMAZING!  I also recommend the shrimp scampi cheesesteak, the blackened prime rib roquefort, and they also have a version of surf and turf that's on special sometimes that is delicious.  The burgers and onion rings are also good.  I've had good service.  My family and I have been coming to this spot for years.

Bar on the back deck is cash only - great deals!   Beer selection is good, but limited on the back deck.

A liquor store is attacked to the restaurant so the party doesn't need to stop when you leave, just buy a bottle and bring it home :)

I don't get it.  This place is always packed.  I don't get what I'm missing.  It's a glorified Bennigans or Applebees.  The food is extremely subpar.  The atmosphere is nice and the fact you can dine near OC and get some alcohol with your meal is another bonus.  But, the service and food are a big disappointment.  I really want to like the place but I simply don't.

Food is always good, especially the chicken cheese steaks!

Waitresses are hit or miss.  I have had some great ones, and some terrible ones.

This was my first time here in at least 10 years.
The parking lot in the back isn't very pleasant but I did like the atmosphere inside. I love the fans on the "bar side." I was staring at them the whole time we were there! I'd compare it to an Applebee's or something - lots of finger foods, burgers, sandwiches, similar prices etc.
The menu is pretty extensive. We got chili and grilled peaches with gorgonzola to start. Their chili isn't bad- if you like thick chunky tomatoey chili. If I get it again, though, it'll be without the chopped onion and melted cheese on top. I love cheese but that was a lil too much for me.  The peaches were ok - they sounded better than they actually were. It was 3 peach halves clumsily plated with some gorgonzola cheese and a little sauce. Not the best, but I give them credit for adding seasonal items to their menu!

Now that I've finally gotten into this place, I can see why there's always such a long wait. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is great. I'm trying to remember everything I sampled: cajun pierogies, curly fries, onion rings, nachos...yes, they were mostly typical bar foods, but they were all much much better than your average appetizer. I was with a large group and everyone got a variety of foods, some got appetizers, some got traditional meals, and everyone left talking about how much they enjoyed their dinners. I'll definitely be back to this place. It's great.

I think in a next life, Im going to try the  "being filthy rich" thing.

I spent the day at a beautiful shore home in Strathmere NJ after being invited by my father, who was renting for the week. This house was re-dunk-ulous! 4 stories, 8 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 1 elevator, a 3 tiered deck, lying just a stones throw from the beach.

By far, the best feature in the place was the downstairs master bathroom. It was about as large as my current apartment, with a wall length mirror, and jaccuzzi style (and size) bathtub. Nice, but the centerpiece of this bathroom had to be the shower stall. It was the size of my bedroom, containing as many levers and dials as a small submarine. Once sealed in the stall, you can set the tempature of the water (not by guess, you can actually set the tempature to the exact degree). There are then 3 levers. When the first one is pulled, the normal shower head sprays you , with a pressure that would make Kramer proud. Then the second lever is pulled , and it starts to rain from above in the shower. Then the 3rd lever is pulld, revealing 3 nozzles in the wall to the left, which spray you sideways, from shoulder to calf. OMFG , it was unreal! My only complaint that there wasnt a 4th lever , which would shoot a bidet like blast upwards, getting the "undercarriage".

As my brother-in-law put it, " Best...shower...ever!"  Its always a struggle to get my kids to shower after the beach, but with the option of a human carwash, they were all too eager. It was actually hard, to get their skinny wrinkled asses out of the shower.

After we were all well showered, we hit a Shore favorite, Yesterdays. Its a popular spot on the way in to OC NJ.  They are a bar/restraunt and are known for their bar foods or appetizers. The menu however is pretty ecclectic and good things could be found for all tastes.

The service is always fast and friendly and they make sure you are well fed, between the salad, and large garlic rolls, an entree is often unnecessary.  Sauteed Pierogies and potato skins were some apps that were ordered for our table, and they didnt disappoint. Thier beer selection is not diverse, but they cover all the bases. There is also a liquor store on the premesis , to pick up some "essentials".

I left stuffed, with a bag of leftovers for the next days meal. I like to think that when I do become wealthy in my next life, I can enjoy the luxuries and decadence that go with the territory, but will also be able to enjoy the simplistic and real food among the common people at Yesterdays. I would at least owe that to my public.
