Kids birthday parties are great here.  They pretty much get run of the place.  They get to waste money on the typical arcade games and blow through the cake and ice cream in 90 seconds flat.

The employees do a good job of letting people know the rules and ensure that everyone plays fair.  Us 'old' people can sit and watch the boards and see who is winning and who is losing.

All in all it is good clean fun and not too overpriced.

Cool place for kids and adults: laser tag, arcade games, bouncy house, pizza, and BEER.  It's cool that they have a place like this in Stockton; however, only Stockton has a place where it takes 20 minutes to turn on the lights.

We booked the biggest area, where they had 3 bouncy houses.  When we got there, one of the lights was turn off. Therefore, the kids were too scared to jump in the bouncy house.  It was super dark when you get inside the house, you could barely see anything .Therefore, I tried to flip all the lights off and than turn them on again.  However, it turned completely off and didn't turn back on. I went to informed the employees while the rest of the party was in the dark.  They told us that it will take 20 minutes to turn back on.  We waited in the dark while the only light that was on was from the flat screen TV.  As for the kids, they started to jump in the bouncy house after we bought in our own flashlight that we had in the car.

I recently had my sons 6th birthday party here and he loved it! The people were friendly and very helpful. They also gave my son freebies such as cotton candy and extra passes to come back and play! There is a televison in every party room for the big games or just cartoons!!!!

Went to a friends son's 6th birthday party here.  The kids had a blast and the dads played too.  They put us in the big room since there were so many of us which was nice.  The beer was cold, cheap and cold.
The employees were helpful and were great with the kids.  Bonus was the cotton candy machine.

Great place for kids to let out their energy. Fun time for my kids birthday party. Reasonable price, fun for all. Safe for the kids and lots of fun. We will be back. Kids had a great time!

In the 90's, Hammer Skate was the "IT" place to have your birthday and to do something fun in Stockton as a youngster.  Today, its Zaps Zone.  Goodbye roller skates...Hello laser tag!

Came here with a fraternity.  I was the only girl who had the balls to play laser tag with the guys.  I felt bad for the girls, who sat outside for an hour, waiting for us.  Each session was long enough to have fun.  Playing the sessions back-to-back can be a workout, especially, when you're playing with guys.  Good thing the sessions had rounds, which everyone gets a short break in between.

There's a lot of running around, up, and down the slopes, so if it's going to be your first time, wear comfortable running shoes and clothes.  Dress lightly!  The vest can be quite suffocating on larger breasted people.  (I'm serious!)  You will work up a sweat and you may be a little sore after (if you're going against COD players).  I had no chance of getting anywhere close to the top highest scores of our sessions. :,{  I still had so much fun!  Its all that matters.

I'm keeping my scores and will beat it next time!  I recommend this place for adults, teens, and older kids.  My 10 year old nephew and his friends love this place!  They just recently had a birthday party there.

I went to Zaps Zone for a birthday party, and it was AWESOME!  This is family fun for everyone, not just kids.  The facility is clean and safe.  The staff there was really nice and helpful, and the laser tag was just fantastic.  I cannot recommend this enough for anyone looking for a fun time.

I love this place! M-Th they have 3 games for 12.00. and a really nice eating area for the parents to relax and visit with their guest or watch the games while the guys have a pitcher of beer. The owners are great and they do not skimp on their service, pizza or hot dogs :-)

Had my son's 10th birthday party here on a Friday night and everything turned out fantastic!  Got the Cosmic package for $140 which includes entry for 8 laser tag players to play 2/ 20 minute sessions, drinks for those players, and 2 later date entry pass for the birthday kid.  I had 12 players so I payed an extra $14 for each player.  Bought 3 $13 dollar pizzas from Mountan Mikes and we were good to go.  Oh Friday night third session is free!

You get a party host that brings in pizza, plates, drinks, and cake when you need them.  She passed out the pizza and cut the cake too.  Fine by me because I didn't want to lift a finger!

There are a few video games that take quarters (there's a change machine) that the kids played during the down time.  The staff working there were young adults and were helpful.  When we were ready to check out they gave me a rose, a thank you card, and some hershey kisses.  I saw them give one to another mom during their departure.  Nice!

My son had a blast.  Keep the kids hydrated because they come out of the tag sessions soaking with sweat!  Watch out for little ones, I wouldn't recommend children under the age of 6 playing tag.  VERY busy on Friday too!

I recently moved to Walnut Creek from Manteca and decided to meet here with some old friends.  I called ahead of time because it was a Friday night and I wanted to make sure we could play.  Only 4 people at the time were coming and the girl on the phone told me that they were not busy and do not take reservations for 4 people.  When I realized that actually 6 people were coming I called back to see if I could make a reservation and she told me we needed 10 people for a reservation, but to not worry and come on in at anytime.  We drove from Walnut Creek to Stockton and when we arrived the guy working told us that they were too busy and we couldn't play!  I told him what happened and he said that they do take reservations for any number of people on Fridays!  He said that the new girls I talked to on the phone did not understand.  He decided to keep the place open late and let us play two rounds for free!  And he gave us free beer and nachos while we waited.  After we played he apologized again and gave us all free tickets to come again and play for free!  What wonderful customer service!  Now for the actual place...It is fun because they have a bar for the older crowd.  The lazer tag room is large with a second level in the center.  I wish that they had multiple second level structures, but besides that it is way cool!

I imagined this place quite different when it was described to me, but everything was okay here. They have a mini game room, a jump house, and a laser tag room. The food court serves beer and the typical foods such as hot dogs and fries. They also had mini party rooms where private parties are held. The laser room was 2 stories, but i didnt quite like the rule of going to the other team's base to win. There were a lot of young teenagers/kids here, not the place for the mid 20s to hang out. This place is okay, but i wouldnt come back.

So I went here with a big group of 22 girls and we called ahead of time to let them know we were coming. They were pretty good with getting us our cards where we can register our nicknames but..not as good with getting us in our supposed time slots! We purchased three sessions with 10 minutes in between but we waited a lot longer than usual. We waited an extra 30+ minutes to start and we waited 30+ minutes for the next game and we were so delayed that we canceled our last game :(

the lasertag itself was pretty cool. It is a really big  arena that had two floors and nice sounds & lights! the staff was helpful when explaining the rules and it was lots of fun while it lasted. I remember them saying it's the biggest arena in california and the 3rd in the nation!

I would recommend going here if u want some excitement, but probably go with a smaller group and not during Friday nights when all the teenyboppers invade.

Went to try out Zap Zone with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. The laser tag arena had multiple levels and was alot of fun. It isn't the nicest place to look at from the outside but you'll have a great time inside. If they add mirrors I'll bump my rating to a 5.
