Zoe's Underground

Quaint little coffee shop. No one really knows about it which is why I love it!

This is arguably the best place in all of Pullman to go if you're looking for culture, ambiance, and amazing food! With everything to offer from authentic Italian espresso, to rotating microbrews on tap, to burgers and gourmet sandwiches, to an extensive wine list, Zoe Underground has something for everyone. The underground atmosphere is relaxed with an artsy undertone, yet civilized and classy. The baristas are outgoing and friendly, and they offer live music on the weekends. If your timing is right, you might even catch sight of the owner join in on stage with one of the visiting bands. I would definitely recommend Zoe Underground if you know what a good latte is supposed to taste like. Five stars!

I was a visiting grad student at WSU, and Zoe's was my saving grace!  Good food options that are a welcome change from what's available at the student center.  The veggie burger is a highlight, since the campus burger place doesn't have a vegetarian option.  Service could be a little slow, so make sure you budget enough time for that.

Great tea selection, friendly staff, good food.  Makes a great haven if you're spending long hours on campus.
