2nd time ordering take out. Ordered the Fish & Chips. It came with Tartar sauce and Lemon quarter on the side (quite nice to use fresh lemon). The fish was nicely cooked and was crispy outside, moist inside. It was not freshly battered and fried, but rather was frozen and pre-battered, then was cooked. The taste was sort of like you would get from Long John Silvers. The fries were plentiful and crispy outside, tender inside. Again, nicely cooked, but the seasoning was uneven. One fry would barely be seasoned and the next would be overly salty. I was told by the cashier that the Shepherd's Pie is fantastic. I will try that and review it next time.
Review Source:Went to this place last weekend as a suggestion from a friend. The prices are rather reasonable, for a party of 3, the bill came to just under $50 which is awesome considering the quality and quantity of the food. Â We had the mac and cheese bites for an appetizer, which were super hot, fresh, and delicious. Â I ordered the grilled chicken breasts with a side of green beans, and split a piece of the in-house made peanut butter cup cake for dessert. Everything tasted extremely fresh and the service was super friendly. Â I will definitely be making another appearance again here in the future.
Review Source:I really like the draft beer and whiskey selection. Â The menu is great as well. Â The fact that it's a pub, you'd expect the food to be above the average bar food. Â This place delivers on that. Â I also like that the owners are on the scene and handle any "issues" that might arise, on the spot. Â I'll def be checking this place out more until I move.
Review Source:Very happy that I found this little gem hiding right here in Waldorf! The staff was very nice, service was quick, and the food was absolutely amazing! Had a Reuben and some wings. Both were amazing and will be on my list in the future! Don't hesitate to visit this little pub. You won't be disappointed
Review Source:I'm very conflicted about this place. My first experience when they had only been open a couple days was Awesome. Service was fast and friendly, food was hot and tasty and the beer was delicious.
My second experience about two weeks later was Definitely not good. Service was excruciatingly slow and the food came out luke-warm. Just getting out drinks took almost 20 minutes. The worst part? They werent even that busy.
I am willing to give them another chance becuase I like the idea of the place and we could really use a good Irish pub with a fun night time scene. If it's anyting like my second experience it will be a real disapointment.
At $10.49 for a small cone of Mac & Cheese bites, the price is unreasonably high. Yes, the M&C bites are excellent & every table (4 at about 12:30AM) ordered them. It has to be a great money maker for them. The beer (great selections of combo beers) and other prices are in line with other eating establishments.
The Ruben is not "stacked" high like most are and the meat is chopped instead of sliced but it was good even though it is very queasy.
The lemon cake is excellent! I ordered it "To Go" so I could savor it. Glad I did.
Our server, Nancy, was very attentive. Â I'll go back. I highly recommend the place, especially if you are looking for something other than boring, run-of-the-mill franchise sameness.
I have been to Grille No. 13 five times already and they just opened last month! Â So far I have ordered the Mac and Cheese bites, the pulled pork quesadilla, bbq wings, and last night I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with a thin mint cupcake. The food is great and the atmosphere is even better! Â I am so excited that there is a new restaurant and bar that I can go to in Waldorf that isn't a chain. Â This is one soon-to-be hot spot that is definitely worth checking out!
Review Source:People were friendly. Food was not so good. We were the only people in the place but for some reason it took forever to get our food. I ordered the New York strip. The waitress came back after a few minutes and said "We are of that would you like the T Bone instead?" So I ordered the T bone medium rare. The waitress comes back later and says "I'm sorry it's taking so long, they are really confused in the kitchen." There were only 6 of us in the place. How confusing could it be? So the food finally comes out. The waitress puts my wife's food in front of someone else. So after three different people pawing her sandwich they decide that it is hers and puts it in front of her. Two other people had similar orders which they weren't sure which one was which so back at forth she went with their food. I get my well done T bone. It had been so long I decided to eat it anyway. Can I have some A1 please? Oh we are out of that, it will be in tomorrow. The steak was horrible, it was like eating the bottom of my shoe. My potatoes were cold. We were offered gravy that was right off the stove. The stove must have been off. It was cold and had a weird taste. They offered us free desert because of the wait. One of the ladies in our party ordered 3 different selections. Oh I'm sorry we are out of that all three times. Everyone else in my party said their food was good. Unfortunately for me I couldn't say that.
Under owner comments it states: Â That said, I encourage you to voice your concerns during your visit to allow our staff to make it right before you leave - and I do believe your meal was taken care of by the house that night as a result of the concerns you had.
My meal was not taken care of. I paid for it.
I checked this place out because I'm tired of chain restaurants, and this place seemed now, so I wanted to give it a try. Â I went in on a Friday evening. Â The place was crowded, with a lot of table sitting near the bar. Â I sat in the other section away from the bar, because I wanted to order food. Â I was greeted by the waitress almost immediately and put in my drink order. Â They had a very good selection of beer, but I ended up going with a whiskey and my friend ordered a Long Island. Â The drinks were incredible. Â Shortly after our waitress took our order, the owner of the place came to greet us. Â She was a nice young lady who made me feel very welcome! Â I ordered some wings as an appetizer which were...excellent. Â Having eaten wings at all chain places, I could honestly say..these are much better. Â My entree was Pasta Alfredo, which was a little heavier on the sauce then I would have made (but I have particular taste in Alfredo Pasta then most). Â However, it was rather good!
The waitress kept coming back to make sure we were doing alright, and would keep an eye on our drinks. Â I really like this place, it made me feel very welcomed. Â I'm going to come back for Karaokee night. Â Also, they have a DJ there on weekends apparently and the music was great!!
Great new little Irish  pub. One of the few restaurants locally that is not a chain. I think they just opened this weekend. We had the mussels, bangers and mash, fish and chips, and monte cristo. All of it was great. Once they work out the kinks (eager, but seemingly inexperienced servers) we have high hopes. Nice little bar area as well.
