Best wine place in town! I love the Raymond R!  Food is pretty good (although they just reduced their menu). Great atmosphere (old Victorian house that was a tea house at one time).  They do have outdoor dining (complete w/fire place), and not as 'upscale' as Motif (neither are their prices).  Service can be a little slow at times, but they are VERY friendly & welcoming.

Stopped in her last Friday for date night. This cozy, Victorian house had great ambiance...great decor, trendy yet traditional. Wine selection was good, although a bit pricey for the wineries. The meat and cheese plate was outstanding...homemade bacon, pickled veggies, thinly sliced pears...what a great spread. My only complaint was that you got six tiny pieces of bread with it. We were out of vessels way before toppings. Next time I'll make a point to order extra bread or crackers. I cannot wait it is warm enough to sit on their expansive patio.

Pros: Cozy, romantic, great bacon and cheese. Amazing patio.
Cons: It is a small Victorian, so the wine bar (front room) is a bit cramped. It is two tables and six bar stools. There are more "wine bar" tables upstairs.

Everything was great, including the server (who was incidentally new to the restaurant but still amazing). We had amazing service, amazing food, and of course the wine was excellent.
The roasted pepper soup was excellent, the steak and fries surprisingly memorable, and the burger with homemade bacon was perfect!

Nice cosy place for a drink.
Ambience: A converted house (I think it was a tea-house previously) with seating on two levels and at the bar. The night we went there was nice live music upstairs but not so loud you couldn't talk.
Service: Very attentive and friendly. Good wine selection broken down by region. The staff know their wines well and were happy to accommodate us (we asked for a whole bottle of port rather than the listed by-the-glass and they obliged).
Food: We only had appetizers (the charcuterie and cheese plate) but it was really good and had a flavorful and unusual selection on offer. The entrees and desserts looked very interesting, so I'd like to go back.
Price: About right for a wine bar.
I'm already looking forward to going back.

-Nice atmosphere & they attempt to make you welcome & comfortable.
-Food was okay. Salad was very ordinary.  One gal had the vinegar French Fries - limp, not crispy.  Less food choices, but simpler food - pasta, salads, soups would be good.  More exotic cheeses/olives/appy meats/crackers/breads would be good.
-They were out of the first bottle of wine we ordered, so it would be a good idea to tell customers what you are out of beforehand.  LOTS of good wine choices, though.
-Music in the background would be a nice touch!
-All in all, we will go back!

Having only been open for a few months, this place has a lot of things going really well.  It has a little execution to manage, but overall, it's awesome.

First off, the space is really interesting.  Adapted from an old Victorian house, you can't help but be intrigued by the staircase, rooms, windows, etc.  The bars have an awesome copper bar that just makes you want to sit there.

It is a wine bar at it's finest.  They offer lots of excellent wines both by the bottle and glass.  Also, if you commit to at least two glasses, you can make any bottle "by the glass."  In addition to wine, they offer several beers on tap and by bottle.  I do not think they offer any spirits, however.

Also, the food is delicious.  Although I would have preferred the kale chips to not be fried, they were tasty.  And the hummus plate was excellent.  My salad was excellent and my wife's zucchini carbonara was unique and delicious.

The true treat of the evening was the dessert.  We had a blanched pear and an amazing mousse.  If all their desserts are this good, I'm a fan for life (until I die from obesity).

Parking can be sketchy, but there is a free public lot directly behind the restaurant so don't you worry a thing.

Great ambiance, great friendly service,  and my food was very good.

I started with the kale chips and lemon aioli. The kale was a little greasier than I expected, but it was very yummy and the aioli was on point. Next I had the thai chili salad with marinated grilled steak and grilled bok choy. This salad was delicious! I had to try dessert; I had the ginger moscato mouse with salted caramel.... I'm a fan and I will be back.

Took my date to 2South for Valentine's Day. She loves wine so I knew it'd be a great choice. This was both of our first time and I was a little unsure about the dinner menu before arriving. But, they had prepared a special Valentine's Day menu (the lamb was amazing!) and it was soooo good! The service was great, the ambiance was great, the wine was great, everything was great! We will definitely be back and I will highly recommend it to everyone I know.

I've been to 2South 3 times and I have had a great experience every time. Their wine selection is excellent and their wine prices are the best in town. I love the Mac and cheese and the short ribs. The live music upstairs creates a great ambience to enjoy a glass of wine. I'll be back soon.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place one day this past summer and fell in love with it. Great ambiance, great wine selection, and I almost died of happiness when I tasted the asian fries. The owners have been there every time we've been in, and spend a great amount of time personally ensuring their guests are enjoying their experience. Really nice people. Love it.

2South is like going over to your friends house and having the best food and wine ever. Not to mention the atmosphere at the old lil victorian house is absolutley awesome! You must come and enjoy. It is spectacular! We go all the time. Greatness doesn't beckon Colorado Springs very often but 2South, it is it!

    Elegant. Went for happy hour.
haven't tried the food but the establishment and service were lovely.

Beautiful decor, plenty of street parking, good Sangria (not too sweet).

    Will be back to eat.

The place is solid and the staff is friendly.  Colorado Springs needs more places like this.  Homemade bacon and cheddar cheese on a burger, yes please.

Got a chance to stop and meet up with some friends yesterday evening at 2South and immediately knew this place was going to be an establishment we will visit often, especially living within walking distance.

From the outside it appears this place looks like an ordinary victorian house in Old Colorado City with a great scene happening within.  The owners greeted us at the door as we let them know our friends were already seated and they promptly gathered some chairs for us. Over the next hour or so, the staff in addition to the owners were tending to all of the patrons and visible at all times to see if we needed anything, and this was during a packed house!  They had a great selection of wine in addition to local micro brew Trinity beers on tap. It was great.

All 6 of us felt the same about this place. Great unique atmosphere that will keep us coming back often. Cheers!
