I don't even know where to start honestly. I have tried so many things on their menu (and NO I wasn't even drinking yet) and they all have tasted great!!! The scottish eggs description leads you to believe they aren't great but they truly are. So try them.

It is loud in their (because it is a tavern first) but you can bring your kids and just hang out with some great food and not feel cramped or being rushed to hurry up.

So if you a a place you can be with the family and enjoy great food with resonable prices then I would come here.

Been here several times, including Geeks Who Drink.  It's more laid back than Quinn's and it has a more open space, but it still gets just as packed on popular nights.  Good food even though they have mostly NON-Irish items, but the beer is in line with the land of St. Patty's.

Portions of all dishes are very hearty!  Enjoyed my chili mac & cheese last night.  HUGE plate of elbow macaroni and real cheese and cream.  The added chicken breast was grilled and juicy, and it topped the macaroni rather getting mixed in.  I did wish they gave me more chili, or that the chili had more OOMPH because though I could see it stirred in with the creamy goodness, I could barely taste it.  The friend's bangers & mash was flavorful and you can't really go wrong with it - I liked it; however, you may find variations at other places that might appeal to you more.  I've also had the rosemary Guinness lamb stew - it was ok, but it seemed overwhelmed with rosemary or something because the essence ended up too "flowery."

Service has usually been average but still friendly, although a couple times the staff has been excellent (like last night).  Overall friendly and efficient.

I remember when this space used to be the Wayfarer... though the concept had seemed cool, McCabe's execution is far better.
