747 Inn Tavern

Had been aware of this bar for the better part of 25 years, but yesterday was the first time I went.  It's a pretty no nonsense place, nothing that would really catch your eye immediately that you wouldn't see in a thousand other regular bars.  American macro lagers, pool tables, karaoke, smoking outside, pull tabs etc etc etc..

That all being said they are a pretty nice place, the ambiance was very friendly.  The owner was super nice and was singing karaoke.  The bartender was nice as well.  Had some hot wings which were outstanding.  I've been to many bars like the ones I've described above and the attitude in the place ranges from that gross sexual frustration of drunk men, to bitchy waitresses.  There was none of that here.   It's pretty far north but if you're in the neighborhood, it's a nice place to stop in for a bud.

Im not sure if I like the whole Dive Bar comment...but we are a lil hole in the wall neighborhood......family bar! I have worked there for about 9  years and I love it. Have met some great people over the years! Lots of regulars that welcome the newcomers...young or elder..they are all welcome. The kings have owned it for 30 + years. Great food..... I hear the comments from customers how they have been coming there for years for the burgers and chicken! LOL Karakoe for the first time in  35 years....goodtimes! Come on in we have been having a blast. We always have a great time!

Best dive bar I have ever been to in multiple states.

Their service is SO friendly. The owner will even drink with you and play pool. He's very sociable, and he actually will get to know you. Their drinks are made strong and hard, the way most people like and want them, as compared to some bars who give you hardly any alcohol. They only have 2 pool tables, but they're in great condition and there are hardly ever any people there, so you usually get the run of the place.

My boyfriend and all of his friends have gone here for a long time before we even met, and when he brought me here, they were so welcoming, and they even gave me a tanktop. They will give you a shirt or tank, depending on what you want. But now, we come here regularly on Thursdays and Fridays and we all wear our shirts. It's just a small little place, and it manages to be more fun and get me drunker than alot of upscale places I've been to. I love the atmosphere, the vibe, the energy and the people.
