We both ordered the Añejo margaritas and the salmon. For starters they brought chips and salsa. They were both spot on, the salsa having just enough heat and a balance of cilantro and fresh pepper. The margaritas were delicious and big. The salmon was EXTRAORDINARY. We are both foodies and this was such a great meal that we just keep thinking about going back for more before we leave. I would drive an hour + from home just to come down and have this meal! That good.
Review Source:The only reason I give this place a 3 is because of the service. Our waitress was cool at first, but that quickly dissipated. She was not attentive at all. My water and drink glass were empty for a long time and I had to ask for something else. Each time we had to call her over to get something else. I understand that places get busy, but I had the feeling like she wanted us to leave for some unbeknownst reason. I always tip 20%, but that got adjusted down with each time we were basically ignored....so if she reads this, just be aware that you get good tips from me based on good service...will get next to nothing if I feel like you want me out of there.
Anyway. Â The food was delicious, Carne asada cut like butter and was flavorful. The alcohol pours were light. I always ask for light ice in my drinks because I don't like watered down alcohol, but didn't get what I wanted. Nothing special about the margaritas, would have expected better from a Mexican restaurant. The place does draw a crowd though.
