American Legion

We stopped in on the Legion for a drink before dinner across the street at Irish Table and we're welcomed cheerfully at the bar.

I don't know if it's supposed to be members only or if certain night are just for members, but I visit the American Legion in Bombay Beach, CA quite often and THIS post is much nicer.

I'm very happy with the souvenir pint glass that I bought for $1.50!

I had the honor of visiting the Legion for their monthly Jam & Burger Night (Mondays -- not sure which one) and had the best time ever.

The burgers were delicious, the drinks were only two dollars, there were ten guys with instruments jamming in the corner, and dozens of friendly artists to talk with about their work.  The legion is members only, but if you have the opportunity to visit with someone, DO.
