AMF Saybrook Lanes

Your run-of-the-mill bowling alley, and that's good in my book.  Went on a Tuesday, where it was $5 "cover" then $.25 games, so it was definitely reasonable.  A good place to spend an evening with good friends.

Not a pro bowler so not sure I am qualified to write the first review but we went here last weekend and I thought it was as good as it gets. The place was clean and well lit, the lanes were flat and polished (in contrast to the old disco candlepin place I used to frequent in college) and . . . they even gave us a new pair of socks to wear with our rented bowling shoes. Bowling couldnt possible get any better.
