Penny Lane Pub

Stopped here because we are huge Beatles fans and how can we not eat at a place called Penny Lane (also our cats name). The service was speedy and the server friendly. The food was good , my only complaint is it's pretty expensive for what it is.

We ended up having take out dinner and a sit down lunch at Penny Lane, during a recent trip.  Both times, the food was good. Their veggie burger and grilled chicken sandwich were both on par with standard pub faire.
We went back for lunch and I enjoyed my bowl of chili and my wife took down their grilled cheese. Again, it was on par with most pubs.
The servers and hostesses were really warm and attentive and the prices were pretty good too. I'd go back if we find ourselves in the area again.

Great food with a rude staff. We have eaten here over half a dozen times. The food is generally really good. The cooks are consistent and the quality reflects the fact that they care. The host and servers are consistently rude and nasty. I am so disappointed in the management for not holding their staff to better standards. We are coming to relax and have a great meal. Sometimes we go with the kids, sometimes with adults only. Neither option seems to welcome a warm and happy response from the staff. Who hires these people and who oversees them? That person should be fired before they destroy Penny Lane. We.ve lost too many good establishments in OS!
