If you like to do a little singing - this place has an awesome system. I absolutely love the food here. Service has always been great. Hands down better than a lot of Vietnamese Bars out there right now.
** If you like the whole booty in your face scene, then you'll be happier over at Galaxy or Alo (super overpriced drinks with dishes that are barely average).
for all you hopeful karaoke-rs out there waiting to be discovered, u can blast everyone's eardrums by practicing here!
the hostesses watch you like a hawk. and when the moment finally comes where you get distracted by the god awful drunkie at the next table, they swoop in and refill your beer. *cha ching! +$4
cheapest plate on the menu is a salad which will cost you $18. so come on a full stomach and snack on the free assorted peanuts.
but wtheck, i'll still raise a glass to the many, many intoxicated nights here with good company.
I'm generous with the stars because the place is really cozy enough (just remodeled after last year stabbing of a gangsta), and the karaoke system is awesome. It's a vietnamese karaoke bar.  Everything is over priced.  You're there to pay for the services.  My first time there was ok. One of guy friend had a bad day so we hung out, had a few beer, order typical dishes you'd find at viet's pubs (sautee beef, deep fried quails...etc) Second time was with a younger crowd.  They got the beer on the table quickly, good.  One of the waitress/hostess sat down with us without us asking her, not good.  My friend offered her a drink, (when you offer a hostess a drink, it could cost more than yours even if it's the same drink).  She  said she doesn't drink beer. My friend looked over to me.  I said, she wants cognac (cost more than beer like 5 times more).  So she ordered herself a few shots.  She was suppose to sit to chit chat with the boys, but she kept hopping tables, using the same trick.! An hour later, our bill was over $200, close to $300.  We  had about 10 bottles of beer, order one or two food items.  Should have been around $100.  So the other $100 something was ms hostess with knee high boots' drinks.  She even waited around for a tip!!! My friend didn't want to lose face, so he did tip.  That was the last time.  So for you losers who can't find pretty girls to hang with you on those lonely nights and happens to have deep pockets.  I suggest you go here.  The owner and her hostesses open their door 7 days a week to all suckers!!!  I rather take my $100 to brothel, at least i'd know what i can expect for my money, if i was a guy that is :P For anyone who give this place a 5stars, i bet you either work there or your gf is :P
(for those who love viet karaoke pub/bar, search Bon Mua, can't seach here on Yelp, use reg search engine)
Low key viet bar on Tully Rd, near Eastridge Mall, food is ok, service is great, music system is ok, never get cheated on bills.  It's very common viet bar owners' cheat you on your tabs.  You never have to worry here.  I viet bar hopping for over a year and a  half and this is the only place I'd recommend going.  The girls are pretty and friendly.  It's not classy or high end, so don't expect too much. Just a nice place to hang with a few friends, get buzzed and sing your heart out.
UPDATE ON QUAN NHAU (where to go)
Binh dan (story and lucretia)
Diem hen (berryessa and king)
Beginning to be the weekly hang out spot for the majority of my friends. Â I like the layout that it separates all the seating places, adding a hint of privacy if you so happen to have a big group. Â High ceilings and multiple flat screens with a decent sound system makes if A-OK in my book. Â The girls are always fun to drink with and are attentive to your needs.
Review Source:Food is good and prices are somewhat cheaper than other quan nhaus.
I think this is the only one that serves lower end cognacs. We can't always shell out 2 bills for Cordon Bleu so it's nice to have Remy.
The decor is nicer than others I've been to. They have sections with large couches, making the place comfy and more intimate. They usually have Vietnamese karaoke, but will play music videos of radio hits if you ask. However, they don't have much of a selection so it's a rotation of the same 5 songs: Like a G6; some Pitbull Song; Akon's beautiful, Britney Spear's 1, 2, 3; Usher's Yeah, etc.
The waitresses are on the "mature" side with one, maybe two, really cute youngins sprinkled in.
Tom T. mentioned the free beer from 5-8pm but, I think they no longer have it because we didn't get no free beer.
Anh Duong is your typical Vietnamese "Quan Nhau". The decor is nice, plenty of T.V.'s, lounge seating, karoake, and alot of unique and tasty Vietnamese dishes. Great place to hang out and relax.
Came here with a couple of buddies, and had an enjoyable time. We ordered a couple of dishes the owner recommended, and it all turned out tasty and delicious. We didn't realize beer was free from 5-8, but who am I to complain. Can't beat free beer. They also had a full bar, so all you hard liquor fans are well accomodated.
