On a recent trip to Dover we stumbled upon this little gem in the middle of nowhere. With its bistro style tables, the decor was pleasant and inviting. The lunch service was very good and the food was tasty and nicely presented.
We had the fried shrimp and the crab melt, which was all crabmeat with no shells. Only a few minutes off the beaten path, we would return to this restaurant on our next trip up the eastern shore.
I need to find more reasons to visit the Eastern Shore, so that I can visit Annie's more often. My group enjoyed a delicious dinner from cocktails to dessert after a daytrip to the Eastern Shore. The crab dip and seafood appetizers while standard fare, were a delight. Our entrees of crabcakes and the catch of the day were welcomed with universal sounds of delighted eaters and the sides were pure comfort.
We shared a couple desserts, but after trying the Tangier Island cake? Oh my goodness. Soooo good.
If you find yourself on the Eastern Shore, make the drive up or down Rt. 13 to enjoy Annie's lovely ambiance and delightful food. You're welcome.
