  Only 10 minutes from Morgantown, this is a great place for WVU students--check it out!!
  
  Don't forget to check out the totally killer homemade desserts--they're HUGE!!

  Home town, all-American food served with a smile. Don't expect anything exotic or flavor intense when it comes to the menu selections. Be prepared, however, to cry tears of joy when you eat one of their apple dumplings.

  Apple Annie's is indeed a hidden treasure. If you didn't go with someone who knew about it and knew where it was, you might not ever stumble across it. I strongly suggest if you haven't been before, find a friend who has and get them to take you. Apple Annie's provides a family-esque type atmosphere--close and comfortable. You are immediately welcomed into the restaurant by the smells of home and growing up. It truly is a sanctuary of comfort food, home made and fresh. Make sure you save room for dessert too! OH MY GOODNESS!

  A friendly atmosphere and generous portions of surprisingly good American/Italian American food, with glass displays housing a wide variety of decadent deserts.  A hidden gem (seriously, halfway down an alley) in a barely-living town.  Definitely worth a trip from Morgantown, maybe even a detour when you're passing on I-68 and in no hurry.

  I can't speak to the food, but Apple Annie's has some of the best cakes in the area. Friends have driven the 20 miles to Point Marion from Morgantown just to get the Chocolate Peanut Butter cake - delicious. Highly recommended.

  One of the better restaurants in the area for comfort food.  Friendly, casual service (although it lost a star for service sometimes being random and slow.  So emphasis on the causal.  
  
  The food however is wonderful, the portions hearty.  They don't skimp on the gravy or butter.  Classic comfort foods, sandwiches, and burgers.  Deserts are home made and just stunning in proportions.  Pies, danishes, cake, etc.
  
  Prices are great even for a student.
