I grew up within spitting distance of Novichenks (then Logan's), but never went there until I was older.
Funny enough, I first went there to watch the World Cup. It should tell you something about Novichenks that they weren't aware that there was even a game playing, and the men (the only woman was the bartender) in the bar made fun of us for watching soccer (they were watching the LPGA).
Otherwise, I liked Novichenks. The wings were good, and there's a lot of local memorabilia hanging on the walls. Emphasis is on liquor, beers are almost only domestic, and there is smoking and video gambling. If that's your style, this is your place.
