  I've been to Applebee's in the past and have enjoyed myself, this was my first trip back in probably 5 years and my first visit to this location.
  
  With such an exciting decor welcoming you in I was looking for a reasonably priced dinner that my fiance and I could have enjoyed.  We were greeted promptly and directed to a booth.  Sadly the table was sticky feeling and one of the seats had the crumbly mess of the previous eaters.  Cleanliness was poor.
  
  Our Waitress came promptly and took our drink order which was nice and we received both our drinks and food in a very timely fashion.  This is where is went horribly wrong.
  
  My fiance ordered the teriyaki shrimp (minus the shrimp to comply with her veganism) and I ordered the sweet and sour chicken dish.  When we received the food both dishes looked skimpy in portion and yes I understand the with her removing the shrimp from the plate she was thus removing some of the portion but this isn't our first rodeo and I was shocked at just how light the plate was covered.
  
  My chicked dish was dry (the chicken was basically overdone chicken strips) with a very light covering of sauce.  I really don't need to go into a great description of just how bad this dish was...it sucked.
  
  And then the bill came, halfway through my entree.  I can understand getting this treatment at Coney Island but not Applebee's.  It just seemed rude.
  
  As you can imagine I won't be back
