  I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.  We received wonderful service from our waiter.  Probably one of the best servers I have ever had.  He was very customer-oriented and was willing to go the extra mile.
  
  The restaurant was busy but clean.  There was a very minimal wait-time to be seated.  
  
  The food was cooked to order and tasted delicious.  The meal included real mashed red potatoes and not imitation potatoes.  Steak was juicy and tender with very little grizzle.  
  
  Bottom Line:  I plan to visit this restaurant again someday when traveling through the area.

  Typical Applebee's, their is always something not quite right.
  I have given up on this chain.
  But, found myself without many options - car broke down, at a hotel needing a restaurant within walking distance, and it's Easter Sunday at 9pm. Oh, well how bad can it be?
  So, we start with the Spinach & Artichoke dip, microwaved to death. It was so unbelievably over-nuked, that all of the cheese had separated into oil and globs and it was so hot that it had to sit almost until the entrees arrived! And when it finally cooled down enough to eat, it was very, very salty.
  We had the shrimp and chicken, bourbon steak and black and blue burger. Burger was ok, fries were a little lame. Bourbon steak was ok, but a pretty small portion, mashed potatoes were also nuked and cold in the center and the frozen vegetable medley, well - frozen. Shrimp and chicken was ok, but way over salted.
  Our waitress was pleasant enough and we didn't complain. After the way the day had already been going, why bother!?!
  But, I will go back to not eating at Applebee's. We should have walked a little further and just eaten at McDonald's!!!
