Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Friendly staff, decent food, floor & tables were clean, beer prices are a little on the high side. My major complaint was they failed to get all the excess water out of vegetables so my steak needed a personal flotation device.

Just your average Applebee's, nothing special. The server was friendly and the food came fast. Nothing remarkably good or bad. The artichoke dip was a bit cool. And that's what I usually get at an Applebee's, a bit cool, bland experience. With the Cheddar's nearby, not sure why anyone would come here, but we had not tried the Cheddar's yet. I doubt I would go back here knowing how good the Cheddar's is.

I've been to many Applebees, in different states in the Eastern US. This was the worst I've been to. We went on Easter at 7pm, golf was loud, it was slow. Host needed to smile. Waitress was professionally nice and efficient with taking order and service, but pretty much brushed off the idea we might actually want dessert (so she lost the sale). French onion soup was worst I've had, small portion, barely lukewarm and a total waste of money. (3 of us ordered it, 3 of us agree on that.) Steak was cooked as ordered and okay, but broccoli was barely lukewarm and wimpy. I didn't mind over salty fries, but don't order the fries if you don't like a lot of salt. The floor under the booth and by the window sill was a mess. Oh, and I'm 47 but didn't have id so my son had to order my beer for me, so make sure you bring i.d.  We could have had a much nicer dinner somewhere else for the money we paid.  I am really not a picky person at all, but I was very disappointed with this meal. Did not meet corporate standards at all. I will never go here again, and will recommend that visitors do not go here.
