Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Veggie pizza was soggy, wings were semi-crunchy, fried were cold, it was all disappointing. However, the waitress was nice and apologetic for the crappy food.  2 stars for the nice staff, zero for the food and bar atmosphere.

I got the lemon shrimp pasta and didn't really like it. The manager kindly took the cost off. My sister's roll up was about half the size it used to be. Our waitress was nice but asked too many questions and didn't really leave us alone, which is almost as bad as ignoring us. The restaurant is new but it kind of lacked the fresh feeling. Not a terrible visit by any means but not one that makes me want to go back.

Terrible, twice.

My wife and I visited this place two times in the past 3 weeks because they have a good selection of lower calorie meals and I am on a diet. The first time, my Parmesan chicken was very good but my wife's Cajun chicken had two long black hairs in it. This was promptly taken care of by the manager and all was ok. This time all of our food was very bad. My Parmesan chicken smelled funny and didn't taste very good. My wife and daughter both ordered stakes, medium well. Both stakes arrived an were burned on the outside and were very bloody on the inside. The manager replaced the steaks and the replacements were cooked correctly but tasted very salty. This left us wondering what they had done to our food because we complained.  During both visits the waitstaff were very friendy and attempted to take care of us, but that doesn't mean much when the food it consistantly BAD.   We will not be back.
