This is probably the best place I've been to in downtown San Mateo.
The breakdown:
Food:
Garlic Noodles with Crab - delicious!
Pork Sisig with Egg - yumm! must eat with rice.
Sweet Potato Fries - average
Brussel Sprouts - nice and crispy!
Drinks:
The happy hour here is great! I know during the week it's 4-10, but not too sure about the weekend happy hour. The drinks are decently priced, but made with love from the bartender :)
The only downfall would probably be the small seating area downstairs.. but come on.. its call the attic for a reason!
MUST TRY!!
Love the lounge upstairs- get a seat right under the sky. Family style works best- portions are somewhat small for a larger group. (2 orders if its a good pick for everyone). Garlic noodles, shaking beef (it's a Vietnamese dish and not really fusion Filipino?), lumpia and sweet potatoe fries were yummy choices. Lemon drops were good- nice spot for happy hour!
