  Stopped here for a late lunch on Labor Day weekend Friday on our way to Lake Huron. We were looking for a nice "local" spot and we're happy with what we found.  The building is older, with a bright green paint job (to attract your attention from the road?) and the main entrance is around back, hence the name.  The decor consists of dark wood, a bar that runs along one side, and lots of free stuff the beer distributor hands out hanging from every available surface. The front windows DO look out onto the Lake, which is nice.  It also looked like they had a patio to one side, but it was raining when we stopped in so we couldn't really check that out.
  
  The menu is straightforward, burgers and sandwiches and a Friday fish fry.  We all ordered burgers which were big, juicy and homemade looking and tasting.  The owner Dora chatted with us and told us that she's been there 33 years and that it was the first establishment granted a liquor license after prohibition.
  
  All in all, this was a fun local spot... We'll remember it for the next time we're passing through!

  Despite the name, this is NOT a gay bar. :-) Rather, it is a friendly local establishment that serves up delicious pub food. Not a particularly "hot" nightspot, it is THE location for dinner among both locals and "weekenders" from downstate. The Friday night, all-you-can-eat fish fry is fantastic, as is the steak sandwich (on any night of the week!).
