Backdoor Steak House

Good filet mignon. Good bloomin onion. Good atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. Eat here.

My friends were raving, but I wasn't impressed.  Lame salad, lame shrimp (why seafood in Altus anyway?) lame steak.  Not terrible, but all the same.  There is a bar upstairs that might have made things better.

Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable.  We sat upstairs which had a great atmosphere and bar.  I could definitely see coming here for some small bites and pitchers of beer with a group of friends.  For dinner...nope.  My husband got steak and shrimp.  The shrimp were good, but the steak was already sliced up in little pieces, which I thought was a little weird.  It was So. Freaking. Salty.

What steak?  It was salt, a pile of salt.

I got a catfish plate.  Salty.  Not to mention they were the thinest pieces of catfish ever, and with the breading and fried-ness, it was near impossible to taste what I wanted to.
