I've eaten in the Backroom many times now and each meal has been wonderful.  The pot roast, something I normally wouldn't think to order in a restaurant, is so good it is hard to resist ordering it each time it appears on the menu.  But the other dishes are wonderful as well, and the deserts are terrific.  Definitely worth seeking out

We were delighted with our Backroom dinners. The first meal we ate in the Backroom and the second was a take out. Both were excellent and great values.

If your new to town, ask anyone "where's Hogan's". Hang onto your hat, negotiating the holes in the parking lot but don't blame your hosts or Hogan. Head up the ramp through the  little store with the always fresh hot coffee, and into the Backroom with the attractive bar and tables.

The Backroom is a cozy neighborhood pub serving locally grown food deliciously prepared by a creative chef and the hard work of local farm families. We loved the
tender tasty moist pork chop, sumptuous cassoulet, fork tender pot roast and succulent roast chicken. The beer choices include on tap. BYO wine or bubbly.
The Staff are warm, knowledgeable and attentive. The menu board is always interesting.
We can't wait to eat at the Backroom, again.

This place is a secret gem, and most definitely the best food in all of Delaware County.  The chef Chris Mcgee has really got it, I hope more and more people from miles around discover this place.  Amazing.
