Love the broccoli poppers appetizer! Â Always get grouper oscar but its off the menu because of new owners but they are making me the same thing with flounder! Â Always great service! Â Peter Lugar burger is awesome! Â Great neighborhood restaurant with that hometown feel! Â Thanks for always being a wonderful place to dine with the family and friends! :)
Review Source:When you walk in, it definitely feels like a local bar, you sit down and have all the regulars (Wellington's version of our Wax Museum crowd) and they're all so nice. The drinks aren't too expensive, same prices as Santa Fe, and the service was quick. I definitely would come back here.
Oh...and a little tip, get to know the regulars, they'll usually buy you a few rounds, but be sure to cab it after that!
The week before my trip to West Palm, my girlfriend told me she had a BURGER place for us to go. I was set on getting Five Guys before we left, but I waited to try this BURGER at Backstreets.
When we walked inside, it was the local crowd at the bar drinking...at 11 a.m. on a Saturday. Get er done. Once I took a look at the menu, I was told to have the Peter Luger BURGER, however I saw something else. The buffalo chicken sandwich. I had to have it. It's my favorite thing ever. I need it, but I came for the burgers! The waitress came over and asked for my order. Last chance and I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich.
When it came. Instant disappointment. I knew instantly that I would like it, but I should have ordered the BURGER which I was told to order a week before I even sat at the table. The sandwich was good, but it wasn't amazing, I've definitely had better but the fries were delicious. I ate my fries and almost half of my girlfriends fries as well.
My words of wisdom. Get the burger. Just get it. Don't look at the menu. Just order the freakin BURGER!
Always great food and good company. Â I have been going here for years every time I'm in town. Â I always make sure to try one of their daily specials.
Their food always tastes very good and they have a nice changing menu. Â It can get loud and crowded during the season, Â but it is a bar after all.
The desserts are always great as well.
It's really hard to find good food (which this place has) but it's even more difficult to find good service (which is definitely lacking here). I think that you only get the attention a customer needs if you are a "regular" here. But I do have to reiterate that the food is really good. I enjoy the wraps, but the Hoboken sandwich is also really good. The fries are some of the best I've had.
