Great ambience, great service, good beer (though few choices on draught), and god-awful food.

I usually just go for drinks and to listen to music, but tonight I had dinner- one of the house specialties-the baked potato with corned beef and sauteed onions and it was out of this world. Service was great. The owner even came over to ask how everything was.  The decor is a little tired but its more charming than your run of the mill chain restaurants.

The wings were AMAZING (medium).

I was there with my boyfriend and his parents..... we each got a "pie"
Two "shepherds pie"--- amazing and HUGE!
One Chicken pot pie---- I didn't try it, but it seemed to taste good.

I ordered the St Brendens Pie... it was good but a terribly small sized portion.

Would I go back...? Probably not, but definitely worth going once.
