The place looks great...but the service is terrible.  With so many employees that I saw running around, I couldn't understand why they weren't cleaning off the tables.  I was thinking about ordering food but I guess the staff figured I requested a menu for casual reading.  They never bothered to take my order or even ask if I wanted to place one.  So I left and got food somewhere else.

Still hate the paid parking in downtown Dearborn, but the craft beer pint specials after work make it a 4 star experience.  Pints of Two Hearted or Oberon for 2.50 are a screaming deal.

Bailey's is probably one of the best bar/restaurant in the Dearborn area, especially for beer lovers. On any given day, Bailey's has over 30 beers on tap, and all of the tap beers are $2 a pint on Tuesdays during Happy Hour, regardless of its normal price. One of my favorite appetizers is the Pretzel Dunkers. It's basically fried bread dunked into hot nacho cheese. YUM! The rest of the food is really good as well. Bailey's is also a great place to shoot some pool (on "good" tables) while watching your favorite sports teams on the TV's that are all over the restaurant. The staff is very professional and knows how to take care of all the guests. After having been there for so many years, I just finally discovered the existence of a basement. Although it's a bit dark, but it's a great place to go to host a party. Good food, great environment, nice staff, it's a total winner in my book. :-)

If you're looking for a laid-back, decent sports bar, this is probably what you're looking for.

The place is huge, has a number of pool tables, and a wide variety of beer on tap.

Food's decent, prices are more than reasonable, and the two (that I walked through) private rooms lead me to believe this might be a good location to drag my networking group for an event.

As far as casual places to hang and chill, this seems pretty decent.

I want to Bailey's on New Year's Eve with a good friend. We got seated right away and we came there at about 10 o'clock. My barhopping companion and I  both had a water and a Long Island Ice-T. Although the waitresses there are decent looking, They can be very slow. Yes, I realize that it was New Year's Eve, but there wasn't that many people there. Part of the reason why I  wanted to start off the night there is because I thought it would be more hoppin' with people. It wasn't and I'm not some old fogey, but I think that at 10 o'clock for New Year's Eve there should be a few more people there that just handful at a bar.  I will say the waitress was attentive asking us if we needed any more water and such which adds the two stars, but I mean just to break a 20 it took her forever. We had two drinks and we paid in cash it's not that complicated.
In the past I have gone here with another person and they did have some of the food there which is okay but nothing to right home about.

As mentioned by other yelpers, there is a pool table and a bunch of other fun stuff to  do.  However, that's about it and expensive beer list and pool tables. The crowd is kind of mixed.  Eagar professionals and  younger college students. It seems to be a  for people under 40.

I meet up with friends at Bailey's on Tuesday for $2 drafts. Beer is good, drafts are cold... food, not so much!  I have tried the chicken strips and 3 of the salads and it is nothing to rave about.  The salads range from about $9-$13.

The servers are always nice and friendly (but a little on the slow side) and the restaurant/bathrooms are clean.

We definitely go for the $2 beer and not the food. I'll have to try a burger and/or sandwich to see if maybe they are better.

Great beer selection. Good place to play pool.  The atmosphere is better than most bars.  The food is pretty plain.

Bailey's is a super sports bar with great food, burgers, fish n' chips, etc at fairly reasonable prices.  Had a 2 sandwiches and 2 beer special going on that save me some $$; I had a Cuban and my wife had her favorite applewood bacon turkey sandwich.  Has a fairly extensive menu, but not overwhelming.
Always has whatever sports events are being televised on one of the many screens and it a great place to watch a local team play.

I've been to Bailey's many times: lunch, dinner, drinks, pool tournaments, etc.

A pretty decent tap selection (~20 beers on tap, with a few seasonal rotations), and a decent bottle selection too. The food is standard bar fare, but actually quite tasty.

There's generally at least one pool table free for a small fee (or free on certain days, I believe), and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The waitresses are never scared to show just-too-much cleavage. Lots of TVs for diverse sports viewing.

Gets 4 stars instead of 3 by comparison to it's surroundings. It's a nice casual place in Westborn that does it all.

*Attention* Pleas do not go here especially if you support ford.

I was here On 12/13/11, we had the buffet for a Ford work party. We had about 40 guests. They had enough for 18 people, then had the guy who organized it order off the menu to get food for everyone. The reason they ran out of food is that the "BIG PEOPLE" as the manager referred to us over ate. It's a buffet but turns out with the buffet you are only supposed to take 3 wings? 2 oz of dip? What the heck when they told the person who was setting it up that there would be enough food for everyone to go through once then come through a second time. I guess your supposed to grab 2 wings the first time then 1 the second time. I'm letting as many people as I can know about their practices and how they refer to their customers. Find somewhere else. Show them that you can not treat Customers like this, and you should never call them fat.

Another typical sports bar.  Went here while in Michigan and sat wishing we would go somewhere else.  We were there during Halloween and were basically the only ones dressed up, so we got raffle tickets to win gift certificates.  They announced a winner every hour starting at 10:00.  We won twice... $200 for a group of 6.  We ordered shots, beer, mixed drinks, and nachos and still didn't use all of the money.  Something to look forward to next time I go to Michigan.  Yay.  The nachos were pretty terrible.  Holy olives!!!  Just so I don't end on a sour note:  they did turn on the Auburn game for me.

Bailey's has been a staple for after school meetings and occasional sporting events.

They have a decently large selection of beers although foreign beers are quite expensive, i.e. Guinness is $6.20. The only night to go is Tuesday's where domestics are $2 and foreign are $2.50.

The waitresses are hit-or-miss. Most of them are very attractive and they know it. More often then not they have messed up our bill or charged us for something extra. Very few are annoyingly ditzy like our last one who didn't know Carlsberg is a beer. However, the vast majority are very kind and helpful.

Food is decent and we usually order wings or I'll get the occasional burger. Also the beer-battered chicken strips are very good and cheap.

After about 10:30, the music gets really loud and the current "dj", a term I use loosely being that I am one too, is an iTunes playlist dj.

For any given night, it is a good time but this is usually not my first choice. Expect to spend anywhere from $15 to $35 on an average night with food and drinks.

I swear all these places on Michigan ave suffer from the same fundamental flaw; crappy slow service.  I went here with a large group and expected slow service but this was horrible and turned into a 2 hour lunch where I starved during 1.25 hours of it. On top of crappy service they there menu and beer selection is boring. I am glad yelp only has they at 3 stars after 19 reviews but it should be more like 2.

Bailey's is first and foremost a bar.

There is a large selection of beers on tap, and several more in the coolers. Additionally, a patron can't help but see a giant television any direction they turn. A bonus when there are big games. Pool tables look good, although I've never used them.

The food is so-so. The nachos are a solid choice, although, ask for salsa since it doesn't come with it. I have also tried other appetizers, sandwiches, and salads; but based upon what I've had, stick with the pub fare, everything else disappoints.

The wait staff are the worst anywhere, just a terrible nasty attitude. Service is slow, they always pad the bill with extra drinks or beer no one ordered. They tell you the happy hour price but charge you for full on the bill also. I will never go there again. There are many other options that are better. The food is iffy, the service is terrible.

    Double MEH!

The ultimate in downtown Dearborn Bro-Tastic venues. However there are a couple of highlights:

    1) Awesome Pooltables
    2) Good Beer Selection
    3) Great Industry Night
    4) They do a lot of work with their promotions (I was eating 2 for 1             Prime Rib for a whole month!)
    5) Well, have you seen the servers...

I'll end up getting dragged here for a couple of parties a year (i.e. 30 mins in and out.)

Not the worst place to have a drink during the week, they do their thing pretty well. It's just find it kinda boring...

    (Maybe I'm being too picky)

I've been to Bailey's numerous times to shoot pool after work.  I don't drink but I enjoy hanging out with OTHER people while THEY drink.  And shoot pool.  And ogle waitresses.

This night we stayed longer than usual.  I had, what has to be, one of the best TURKEY sandwiches I have ever eaten.  The Black Forest.   I put turkey in caps because in all honesty i ate this sandwich and wrote the review and seriously though I had eaten a HAM sandwich.  I means it's called the BLACK FOREST!  So this is an edited review.  Yes, hailing from the darkest of darkened wooded areas, the TURKEY was warm, succulent, soft, and salty.  I didn't really care what else was on the sandwich but it was served with some sweet honey mustard on a dark, soft, pretzel roll with lettuce and tomato.  Delectable.

We played pool for about 5 hours and I gained the nick name "chicken wing" for my ability to sink ridiculous game winning shots with a chicken wing hanging out of my mouth like a cigar.  I was halfway tempted to take the bone home and make a lucky tooth pick out of it.  It could have been my "thing".

Anyway, great night at a great place.  I will surely be back.

Baileys is a pretty versatile Pub. It's a good place for lunch, drinks, the game, or to shoot pool. Depending on your reasons to choose Baileys, they do have some enticing ways to keep you coming back.

If you're a beer lover, their selection is the best that Dearborn has to offer. They have a Brew Club membership(free) that will give you discounts as you accumulate points. Half off wings forever is probably the biggest bonus the membership gives you. Their wings aren't quite BW's, but are far better then Hooters. Every tuesday all of their pints are $2.

Their menu is moderately priced for pub fare and is slightly above average. They offer lunch sandwich specials for 5.99 and one salad option. If lunch is your focus, they have a punch card which will get you a free lunch on each 5th or 6th visit. Pool is also free during lunch.

If I lived closer to Baileys, and had free time to regularly watch games out, they'd be near the top of my list.

I came here last night with a few friends. We got our menus after a table that had been seated after us... That annoyed me and set the pace for the entire night.

Our waitress, Angela, was extremely slow. She didn't take our order until after we had been sitting for about 15 minutes, even though our menus were closed and on the side of the table. She was slow getting our drinks and anything else we asked for, and it didn't seem like she had many tables. She apologized for the wait when she dropped off the bill ... but she should have just been quicker the whole night instead of apologizing when it came time to tip her.

Oh, and their drinks were stupid expensive. A Johnny Vegas shot cost $6.75. A Malibu and Coke was $4.70. A rum and orange juice was $5.30. The prices seemed a little high for how weak the drinks were.

The food was good. It was served hot and everyone agreed it was tasty.

The place itself was pretty cool. Very spacious and lively. They had a good variety of music, a few pool tables and a bunch of games on their huge flat screen TVs.

Overall, a nice place if you wanna spend some money and get less than stellar service. Maybe I'll come back but I'll sit at the bar and order cheaper drinks.

This place is OK, as they have pool tables and one table tennis table which can be fun with a bunch of mates..

They have probably 30+ beers on tap but all taste watered down, close to water and flat. Therefore i usually buy bottle beer from this place,  the service is very poor!.

Been a few times but won't bother making another visit.

Bailey's is a pretty cool place to hang out.  They have pretty decent burgers and a good selection of beer.  We usually shoot some pool while we are there.  It does get a little crowded around happy hour.  You get a good mix of professionals, students and the like at this place.  I have generally always had a good time at this place.

    P.S. They allow smoking. :o(

In the late 70's, Elton John released the song "Someone Saved My Life Tonight".

For me, that was last Wednesday. It occurred after the 4-hour meeting from hell that I was involved with.

Issues that were crystal clear to me, no one seemed to grasp. I check my premises, I'm not wrong. I check them again from others perspectives. How can they not see???  Then there was the pointless arguments over topics that should not have ever been brought up.

It wasn't pretty. It was hell... Ordinarily smart people seemingly loosing their grip. Or wait, was it me that was losing my grip? Not sure I can tell. A cocoon of disblief starts to form. It was...

It was like I entered my own version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".

Must not fall asleep or dire consequences will befall. I quickly scanned the room looking for signs of Pods, but found none. I was half dreading and half welcoming the entrance of Donald Sutherland into the room with his mouth agape.

    Then it was over... Finally...

    What? We're reconvening tomorrow? Ahhhhhhhhh!

A friend came up to me. "Craig, you look like you could use a beer?" All I blurt out in my state of mind is "Guinness". He says "I know a place."

Next thing I know I walk into Bailey's and enter beer heaven. Behind the bar is a wall of beer taps of all types. I'm speechless, the antedote comes in so may choices. My friend orders and momentarily I have a perfect pour in my hands. One pint, then another and my experience of the day starts to fade. I start to return to human form.

The waitress asks if I'd like to see a menu. "Yes... yes please. I need sustenance for tomorrow."   I choose the Pot Roast Sliders. Boneless BBQ Riblets in a tangy sauce on top of Onion Straws on slider sized buns. Seemingly the perfect combination to go with my black liquid gold. They were delicious.

So now I can relate to Elton's song. Someone saved my life that night...

Bailey's, with a little help from a friend!

If your looking for a spaaaaacious bar to find a new favorite beer and shoot pool, this is your place.  This place sports at least six huge pool tables that charges by the hour.  They also have huge flat screens for games.  The service is pretty good.  The last waitress kept messing up the drink order, but no biggie.  The bottom line: I like this place.

I'll give the place 4 stars on the strength of the beer selections alone, but actually GETTING said beverages from tap to table can sometimes require extraordinary patience, so I'll knock it down a star for that.

Otherwise, a nice place to watch the game with the locals, although the last time I was there MSU was playing in the Big 10 Basketball championship game with more than a few Sparties present, and some crappy Top 40 music was playing full blast, and no audio of the game. Sacrilege, in my book.

The staff is pleasant (when they get to you), and I can imagine the place being a nice place to find new friends over a couple drinks, and the checkers tables next to the bar give you something to do while waiting for your next pint. Food is decent, typical bar-grub but I haven't tried the steak and main-dish options, anticipating the usual Applebee's-type results.

A word of advice to lounge lizards, I live nearby and happened to drive by St. Paddy's night and saw several of Dearborn's finest/stormtroopers pulling people over as they got out of the paid lot behind the place (considering other bars like Double Olive, Howell's, Crave, etc share the block, not a bad way to boost the local coffers by pulling over over-imbibers). I don't advocate drinking and driving, but it seems that they were grabbing every car leaving the lot, whether they were drunk or had a designated driver behind the wheel.

We've been here a few times for dinner and drinks. It's a comfortable vibe, as evidenced by the people chilling in the loung-y area when you first come in the door. That's always struck me as kind of odd, though. Maybe it's just because it wasn't what we were looking for.

The food is all reasonably good bar-fare, and they can serve up a tasty drink. We've never had any issues with the service. If we lived a bit closer, I think this may be somewhere we'd hang out more. Also, there's usually plenty of parking in the lot on the next block back, but I'm a total wuss in the cold, so I either have my husband drop me off by the door, or we go someplace with more convenient parking in the winter.

I actually think Bailey's is fairly decent and exceeds most bars (in regards to appearance and food). It right around Ford headquarters, so happy hour is always packed with those that need to get a few (lay-offs) off their mind. Very huge beer selection, although I haven't tried any. I am more of a cocktail girl. The food is pretty good and I actually thought the service wasn't that bad. During the summer is a good time to go, because the patio is open and crowds soon gather.

I was here on Tuesday - $2 drafts.  I think the average age was 16 or 17.  I can't deal with the high school crowd being at the bar, crowding around the pool tables.  That being said, the service was pretty quick, and it was full of happy celebrating localites.  If you are a social shark, I'm sure you'd meet someone here.  I, though, will not be returning.

I've never chosen to go here. I had friends who lived 2 blocks away and ended up here. Before we go we usually talk about how horrible the service is and usually reference how bad it was the last time we were here. Oh well. At least it's not the Post or whatever.

bailey's is ok. i usually go here cos the people i want to hang with want to go here. they do have a good selection of beers. they gave me a really hard time once getting in when i forgot my id even when i said i wouldn't drink. i was with people who were all well over 21. seriously. i just don't dig the crowd very much. loud and obnoxious.

Great beer selection - probably around 40 or so on tap.  Service is always great and there's usally a pretty good crowd in there on weekends that skews a little younger.

They have a ton of TVs showing sports and when the games are over they switch to music videos - usually just Top 40 crap, but it's still something.
