Came here for a free dinner after staying at Paniola Greens.
Parking is available by the clubhouse in a nice big lot out there.
There is a bar area, as well as a nice big patio where you can watch golfers do their thing. Â The interior is a little bit dated, but it goes with the laid-back character of this state. Â The night we went, there was a local Japanese guy singing classic Western songs such as Beatles.
Potato skins - decent but quite greasy.
Clam chowder - average taste. Â Nice chunks of potatoes inside.
Prime rib - oh wow this was good. Â Served with gravy and horseradish, and a baked potato. Special mention for those who enjoy eating cows.
Lava cake - not sure if this is an American thing, but this thing is waaaaaay too sweet. Â There were 3 of us sharing one and we couldn't finish it. Â Served with ice cream on the side. Â The entire thing is drenched in raspberry syrup. Â I would not recommend this dish.
Overall it's a decent place to chill if you're in the area.
Not your typical country club, which could be a good or bad thing depending. I was just happy I was allowed in wearing cutoff jean shorts.
Friendly service and good cocktails. Not great ambiance, but they do have outdoor seating overlooking the driving range. Super-friendly service. The best happy hour place I found around Waikoloa.
