I stopped here with a few friends a few weeks ago looking for a bar open on Sunday night. Words can't even begin to express how awkward the first few minutes were. Apparently this bar has a very regular crowd and the appearance of new people caused quite a stir. We soon realized that they were excited about it and we soon found ourselves talking to almost everyone in the bar. Â One person even bought us a round.
This really is the stereotypical, super friendly small town bar.
A few quick pointers:
*They DO NOT take credit cards, though there is an ATM.
*If your looking for a place to do some heavy drinking, this isn't it.
*They don't have a huge selection, but they did make me a gin & tonic.
