Don't believe the hype! Â I know y'all want to get caught up b/c Peter's on the RHOA however the service here sucks! Â Let's start with the fact that we had a reservation for 14 @ 9:30 for a private party. Our complete party was there on time but we didn't get seated until 10:45! Â We were standing in the lobby and doorway until we were seated as there was no where to sit. Â The party that was seated in our reserved space had extended their stay? Excuse me? How does that happen when you have a reservation! Â Then we get seated and there aren't enough bar stools b/c some of Peters VIP guests came in and were given our extra table! No drinks or food for another 1/2 hour. Â Whatever happened to customer service? Â Apologies for the long wait, apologies for the bad service. Â Nothing. Â I would recommend the food but the service is horrible! Â I won't be back.
Review Source:What do you do at  11:30am when there are 8 people in line at Starbucks?  Walk next door and get a Javatini from Bar One!!  It is the south, so odds are you'll be drinking alone, but don't worry...you'll get the best service you've ever had in a bar.
Before I even sat down, the bartender was front and center taking my order. Â They don't have coffee for coffee drinks (-1 star), but they have both chocolate martinis and coffee-flavored Javatinis. Â That'll do, Pig, that'll do.
Bartender mixes up a tasty drink, and pours me the extra in a rock glass - nice! - and asks right away if it's OK.
Super clean atmosphere, pretty martini art on the wall...not bad for an airport bar.
I'm always leery of menus that don't have prices on the drink menu. Â But, no shockers here...my morning rescue was $13.00.
I'll see you again Bar One. Â :)
Pleasantly surprised with Bar One in Terminal A at Atlanta Airport! Great staff that acknowledges guests right away and makes it their business to get a drink in your hand ASAP! I was heading out from the "A" back to Fort Lauderdale and Bar One was right next to my gate. It is sponsored by Ketel One Vodka but they serve other spirits there as well. They also serve food but I only had one drink while I was there so I can't comment on the food. I did see them bring out a burger for one guy while I enjoyed my drink and it looked and smelled pretty good!
It's a nice little setup, not too big though but it's in an airport. There's only so much space you're allotted for a bar! There were 4-6 bar stools at the bar area and about 3 booth areas on either side of the walls in the area (6 booths total). I just wanted a nice drink while I waited for my flight to board. Prices weren't too bad either. A double Grey Goose Soda with a splash of cranberry was about $15 and the single was $12. It made sense to get the double but I had a short wait so I got the single Absolut instead which was $9.59 (I know, I went from Grey Goose to Absolut - BLASPHEMY!!!) . As I mentioned before, the service was quick. I had my drink in about 3 minutes from placing the order. The patrons were really chill and there were all nice (everyone is REALLY nice in ATLANTA btw). The bartender was cool too! He knew all of the prices plus tax off the top of his head!!! I love a sharp bartender! It makes life a lot easier when the person pouring your liquor knows their stuff! Drink was good, strong! I slept like a baby on the 2 hour flight. If you're in Terminal A, check out Bar One. They won't disappoint!!
