Bart's Pub

I only ventured into Bart's because my co-workers & I were always looking for a local bar to grab a beer on Friday after a long week.

When I first saw it, I told myself I would never go in there, due to it being a hole in the wall in an industrial complex.

But we happened to go in and I was surprised, it is much bigger on the inside, a bunch of pool tables, darts, games. They also serve pretty good food and the manager & bartender are both very friendly.

It's a good place for football too with their big screens all around.

Wish they had slightly better prices, but I can't really complain.

My BIGGEST beef with this place is that music is ONLY playing when someone PAYS for music. I wish there were some sort of background music going (at least the times i'm there).

The two main reasons why my friends and I come here are that our awesome friend Lavonne is the bartender there and we visit her almost every Tuesday, second reason is that it is very close to home.

The atmosphere is alright. It has plenty of pool tables and since I love to shoot pool with my friends, it's a nice hang out place for us. They also serve food but I have not been there during their serving hours. After hours, they do have Digiorno pizza for about $10. I use to hate the fact that it was a beer and wine only bar but there are plenty of female friendly drinks there. I prefer pear cider. It's yummy! =) The prices or ok, a bit pricey for certain beers though. If it wasn't for Lavonne working there, we'd probably wouldn't go there as often.

Wandered in here one night after years of curiosity about this neighborhood bar...the first thing I thought was "weird atmosphere, reminds me of an office turned cheap bar."

There was a man waxing his truck in the parking lot and an eclectic mix of young, wasted kids inside.

Tried to order a Whiskey Sour...didn't realize that this pub was "wine and beer only."  BUMMER.
Forced to order a beer, but their on tap selection was extremely disappointing.
The DJ was weird, the tiny bar in the middle of the place was weird, and the vending machine with chips was weird too (although tempting if you're drunk, I guess).

Not my favorite place...hell, it doesn't even make my top 50.
What a strange experience.
