Went there mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Still fairly busy considering the time. But it was great. Fun place to visit with friends, watch the race/golf/basketball and more. We had many different menu options and I didn't hear a bad word about any of them. I had the Gooey burger with Gooey fries. Â The burger itself was excellent although I wasn't a fan of the gooey cheese itself. It didn't have much flavor. I would have preferred a cheddar cheese which may have been a option. Others had fish, turkey, roast beef, etc. 99 cent tappers.... Always a bonus... Prices were very reasonable.
We will return. Our service was very good...
This place was great. We went here for dinner before a movie. First of all, they had a huge menu! You can find it online, but they had plenty of good sports-bar-ish appetizers, burgers, some seafood, and of course - WINGS. There was plenty more on the menu, and anyone would [hopefully] find something they like..
Our waiter first brought us some biscuits, which were covered in some sort of buttery garlic-y sauce. They were yum. We got the "Spencer's Ooey-Gooey Fries" for an appetizer. They are curly fries, and they were cooked perfectly. For our main course, we decided to try the wings, since that's what they're known for.. I got the "Wangs" - which are basically large chicken strips dipped in wing sauce -- or boneless wings.. They had plenty of sauces to choose from, and I chose the garlic sauce, and my spice level as "Hot" (which out of 6 temperatures, Hot was second to mild). Â Next time I may try X-Hot, because they could have been a little spicier. Â The sauce was great though - since I chose Hot, I think they mix a hot buffalo flavor sauce with the garlic sauce, and they turned out perfect. Also, I'm glad I ordered the "Regular" size -- I couldn't finish them, but I think it was because we had had the appetizer.. There were 3 giant chicken fingers doused in sauce, and it was served with celery and blue cheese or ranch.
My boyfriend got the small (about 8) order of the wings with the lemon pepper sauce. He ordered Hot, so they combined the Hot buffalo with their original Lemon Pepper sauce, and he said he would have preferred just the lemon pepper.. but he still loved them. There are plenty of sauces to choose from, and I am looking forward to trying them all! Some sauces needed clarification (Wesley's, Eli Gold, Butt Rub!?), and the waiter was happy to explain them. My brother, who is 11, got the chicken bites from the kids menu. He's very picky and he ate all of them - loved em. They came with curly fries-- he loved those too! The prices were all decent, and the wait-staff was very friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor dining options, and the layout inside is very nice. Â Anyways, we are looking forward to visiting again. They just got TVs installed, and it will be a great place to watch FOOTBALL!
