The Bear Chest

The Bear Chest Lounge. Wow.  A night here can only end in tears. The crying or laughing type.  Since I am the first and may be the only person to actually write something about this place that is not in the police beat, I shall shoot for the stars.  

I've dropped in this hole probably more than any human should while living in the area and I can promise at least three things will happen when you go.  
1.  The door man is a promotor the likes of which have never been seen in the Midwest.  During renovations, this man was hustling people to come in and stay in.  I'm  just saying he has the type of ability to follow you into the bathroom and hand you a towel all while having a harmless convo through the whole process about how this place is starting to "turn a corner".  He'd probably hold it if you let him.  Oh, hell yes.
2.  There is no discernible difference between the A,B, C, or low C squads here.  Which is great because you never have any high expectations or really any expectations at all.
3.  You will wonder where you are going to run for the quickest exit at least ten times while your there.

Beyond that, this place has decently priced booze, janky lounge seating, and quite the music selection.  So grab a few comrades and head to the state line for some urban pole entertainment.  p.s. I really do not know if the ATM works yet, and I would recommend not using it even if it does.  You'll know what I mean when you get there.
