Beef O Bradys

Stopped here while in town for my brother's wedding. The wait staff was nice and attentive. The food was good. I had the OMG burger which was delicious. For 5 of us to eat (3 adults, 2 kids) the bill was $54 so not too bad.

This was our first time at Beef O Brady's.  We went on a Sunday right after church so they had just opened. We are able to sit wherever we wanted. We go the loaded chips for an appetizer and that was pretty good. I got a chicken wrap and my husband got the chicken philly cheesesteak. We were both satisfied with our meals and the service. Hubby loved that they had every ESPN channel on, lol.

I took my two granddaughters and the older kids "friend" to the movies and then after, we decided to go here for a sandwich.   I figured, this is kind of a "family oriented" sports bar type place.  Haven't been here for a long time, but from what I remember, kids ball teams go here for their team dinners. Well, tonight, there were a few family's with kids eating.  although three or four of the  15 (or so) TVs were showing a college basketball game, the majority of them were showing that "no holds barred, full contact, kick boxing stuff.  And I think they had the volume turned up just about as high as it could go.   The announcer is bellowing the blow-by-blow while the host led us to a table and tried to get our drink orders, which we had to yell to him.  In hindsight, I wish I had just spoken in a normal, "restaurant" voice so that he would get the idea that maybe the volume could be turned down a notch or two.  
The service was reasonable and quick.  Once we gave our orders, our food was delivered quickly.   Granddaughter #1 (age 14) got hot wings and cheese fries.  "Friend" got a shrimp skewer plate.  Granddaughter #2 got nacho chips and salsa.  I got the house "favorite"  the "Waterson Sandwich".   Even though our food came out pretty quickly, by the time it did, I was tired of yelling to try to have a conversation.  #2 was sitting with her hands over her ears ( she continued to keep one ear covered while she ate".  "Friend" put on his I-pod headphones.  #2 yelled that her fries were pretty good, but the wings were kind of dried out and had no meat on them.  #2 was happy with hers, but unhappy with the bellowing TV's.  "Friend's" meal looked good.  He got two skewers of grilled shrimp (about 8 on each skewer),  seasoned rice and steamed broccoli.  I don't like shrimp, but his looked good.  He yelled that they tasted pretty good.  My sandwich, roast beef, cheese, with lettuce and tomato (omitted the onion and pickle described on the menu) on toasted marble rye.  The meat was pretty tough and when I took a bite, the whole sandwich fell apart.  The meat was tough and the bread was toasted too much. One of the slices of tomato was about 5/8 in. thick.   Too thick for a sandwich, but I didn't want to renew it.  I have had this sandwich before , but they have always had the same problems .   If I go back, I won't order that sandwich again.  Our server refilled our drinks as needed.  
We ate fast so we could get away from the noise.
