Thank goodness for Groupon! This place is not very good. At first they gave me a issue about my groupon, I bought the 20$ for 40$ worth of food. They claimed I had to bring 4 people to use it, although when I checked my groupon it said nothing of the sort. We discussed leaving because if I hadn't checked first we would have had to pay full price for the meal. The waiter had to check for us to make sure we could even use the groupon for the three of us. Me and my Gal Pals went for lunch and boy did we wish we went to Dairy Queen across the street. The food was fast food quality at best. Not what I'd expect from a pub at all. My sandwich arrived with no cheese, sauce, onions or tomatoes. It was gamy and chewy, and WAY over cooked. In their defense I DID ask for it well done. Our nachos arrived with no guacamole or sour cream, and it wasn't delicious melted cheddar cheese, it was a cheese sauce from a can. There weren't many toppings, and they coated it in lettuce, I hate lettuce, I should have asked for no lettuce. They were soggy, and there wasn't enough salsa on them. My friends pastrami was very fatty, she didn't finish it, my other friends corn chowder was good earning them the second star. But a hour after she claimed she felt nauseous afterwards. Our cheese fries with bacon arrived with the same "cheese sauce" on them. For 6-7$ you'd think we'd get like 15 or so potato wedges, nope we got six. Myself and one of the girls got soda, both of them just tasted off, she returned hers, I just drank mine, we were charge for both though which ticked me off a bit. The groupon covered the value of the trip, we WERE going to be nice and order more food to make it worth it for them, but the food and drinks we got were so awful that we couldn't justify ordering more. Maybe on a weekend evening they're better for dinner, who knows. (I won't) The owner was very nice as was the waiter, earning them one star. I feel like this is a better place to drink than to go out to lunch with the girls.
