Center Ice

Noisy, full of townies, and bad food (although they now offer a free buffet during Bruins games. Can't hate on free food right?).

Why 5 stars? I go here frequently for Bruins games and have NEVER been charged for all the alcohol I've ordered. For example, last time we got 5 pitchers and 1 mixed drink. Charged: 2 pitchers and the drink. ALWAYS start a tab. You will get free booze.

I've been here twice, with wildly different experiences. The first time was a standard enjoyable bar trip with a so-so tap list and very cool ambiance (LOVE the hockey idea). However, the last time I went, a saturday night, it was overrun by townie biddies, which wasn't necessarily the place I wanted to be.  The tap list was terrible this time (NOTHING remotely good) and there was a HORRID cover band playing. Ug, yeah, I don't want to be in there

This is one of the worst bars I've ever been to. And that's sad, because I'm a HUGE hockey fan. When I went, there was an NCAA tourney game on the TV. I love college hockey, so that was cool, but did it have to be on EVERY TV? There were NHL games on, if you can see 3 TVs from wherever you're sitting, do they really all have to be tuned to the same game? There are only 6 or so taps, including a total of 0 good beers. I think this is the first bar I've ever been to that didn't even have Guinness on tap. As for the patrons, a combination of "fake-tan blonde extension girls" and "40yr old men with ponytails", as said by Ella B., is pretty spot on. Guys, if you want to get some exotic diseases, there are some pretty desperate looking women that hang out next to the men's room. Also, when I went they had an obnoxiously loud live cover band. The staff was nice and friendly, but other than that this bar is a huge bust.
