  Noisy, full of townies, and bad food (although they now offer a free buffet during Bruins games. Can't hate on free food right?).
  
  Why 5 stars? I go here frequently for Bruins games and have NEVER been charged for all the alcohol I've ordered. For example, last time we got 5 pitchers and 1 mixed drink. Charged: 2 pitchers and the drink. ALWAYS start a tab. You will get free booze.

  I've been here twice, with wildly different experiences. The first time was a standard enjoyable bar trip with a so-so tap list and very cool ambiance (LOVE the hockey idea). However, the last time I went, a saturday night, it was overrun by townie biddies, which wasn't necessarily the place I wanted to be.  The tap list was terrible this time (NOTHING remotely good) and there was a HORRID cover band playing. Ug, yeah, I don't want to be in there

  This is one of the worst bars I've ever been to. And that's sad, because I'm a HUGE hockey fan. When I went, there was an NCAA tourney game on the TV. I love college hockey, so that was cool, but did it have to be on EVERY TV? There were NHL games on, if you can see 3 TVs from wherever you're sitting, do they really all have to be tuned to the same game? There are only 6 or so taps, including a total of 0 good beers. I think this is the first bar I've ever been to that didn't even have Guinness on tap. As for the patrons, a combination of "fake-tan blonde extension girls" and "40yr old men with ponytails", as said by Ella B., is pretty spot on. Guys, if you want to get some exotic diseases, there are some pretty desperate looking women that hang out next to the men's room. Also, when I went they had an obnoxiously loud live cover band. The staff was nice and friendly, but other than that this bar is a huge bust.

  Overall the bar is not that great. The drinks are overpriced and the food is just okay. The crowd is full of wanabe tough guys and gangsters. The music sucks and the dj is more conceded about getting laid than the music he's playing. The management is a jerk and calls last call two minutes before closing and shoves people out the door before they can finish a drink. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because it is the best bar in fitchburg if you can belive it.

  As far as the area goes, you're really not gonna do better than this for sports bars. Kudos to the ownership for identifying how popular hockey is in the area (close proximity to an AHL team in Worcester, big Bruins fanbase, lots of great high school hockey rivalries in the area and of course Leominster is the self-proclaimed dek hockey Mecca) and catering a bar to those needs. The Slap Shot mural is absolutely fantastic, and there's other sweet details, from the "bench" next to the mural to the Chiefs jersey hanging near the jukebox, and I love the siren that goes off for goals in hockey games and for last call. For a hockey bar, they sure do play a lot of Top-40 music, but that's a minor issue - it's generally a great place to watch the game, whether it's hockey season or not. Prices are pretty reasonable and the selection's good; though when in Rome, Molson's the way to go, eh? Crowd can be mildly obnoxious, but it's no worse than the rest of the area, and I haven't seen it quite as obnoxiously packed as, say, Mickey's tends to get. Haven't really sampled the food except the sweet potato fries, which are tasty (not a fan of bar food anyway). Loses a star for some bad experiences with flighty, overly-chatty bartenders and for the fact that their card reader never seems to work (and twice I've learned about this AFTER putting several drinks on my tab - they should at least tell you up front), but let's be fair, are you going to find a five-star bar in Fitchburg? Of course not. This one's a definite favorite, and its shortcomings are minor and easily overlooked because I'm a hockey fan and Center Ice caters to my demographic quite nicely.

  so im not a huge fan of fitchburg and this place was all locals..but i wont knock a star off for the fake-tan blonde extension chicks girls yelling in my face how the music sucked ass or the 40yr old men with ponytails or the fact that it was a huge sausage fest. music was really loud though, I was practically screaming at my bf next to me at the table. food was cheap but get what you pay for. plastic utensil kind of place. not too shabby interior for fitchburg. good amount of tvs. and i am kinda bitter at the bartender for waiting until i ordered my food and was eating for her to come ID me at my table even though i was drinking water as the DD. i know i look young but wtf.
