A nice little inexpensive restaurant with friendly employee.
Went here on a wednesday at about 7pm during the winter, the restaurant didnt seem very busy. I came from the chicago area for a visit and i'm used to the bigger busier chinese buffet. The food at this restaurant seemed like its been sitting out for some time, the white rice especially was either old or not cooked the right way. The soup has that nice layer that forms after sitting around.
The hot and sour and egg drop seemed to taste good anyway. The other foods just seemed okay, nothing special, but it was filling.
Considering the price I don't think its too bad of a deal in comparison to the culver's restaurant I ate at during lunch.
Would I eat here again? most likely, if i was hungry enough. I'd probably try to come earlier  and at a busier time maybe the food will be fresher.
Looking for an inexpensive dinner in Galena, we found Beijing Buffet. Â
We found the buffet to be clean and well stocked.
I especially enjoyed the many seafood options.
The food was tasty and hot with the exception of the steamed dumplings which were not kept hot.
The biggest let-down was the dessert line. While all of the desserts looked tasty and fresh, the dip well that keeps the ice cream scoop clean was not functioning. Â Nothing says, "None for me, please", like a serving spoon sitting in a stagnant pool of warm, milky water.
