Great sandwiches, awesome beer selection.

We stumbled in here after a bad experience at another place in town. Our bartender Courtney was awesome. She had wonderful recommendations on food and beer. I loved the Almost Famous Sandwich. They make everything in house except for the bread and the chips. The chips are made for them and they are awesome too. My sandwich was so good I will go here every time I am in town!

Go here if you like food that is made from scratch by a staff who truly cares about the quality of food and spirits!

Nice little dive bar with free wifi. We ordered the Embe chicken special with cole slaw and mandarin salad. Super friendly, but understaffed. The bread pudding is great though.

We passed through Galena while on our way home from Dubuque.  Strolling down the street and couldn't resist the sign advertising the soup specials.  I ordered the seafood chowder.  Holy smokes Batman, was that some good seafood!  It was chocked full of lobster, scallops, shrimp and some veggies.  Delicious but not too heavy.  We also had some amazingly delish bread pudding.  If you are in the area, it's worth stopping at for lunch.
