Bella Mia Grill

Went to Bella Mia with some friends to enjoy an Italian dinner.  I was surprised to find out that they once again have new owners and are changing again.  It is no longer an Italian restaurant but featuring more seafood dishes.  I ordered the OssoBuco which is usually a veal cut.  This was made with pork and was very tasty.  Not the best I have ever had but not bad none the less.  I would consider coming back to see how the menu develops with the new direction.

Only thing going for them is happy hour appetizers.  Food is over priced and everyone acts like they've never worked at a restaurant before! They had a special on Mondays but did away with it. We called ahead and was told by a girl who answered the phone that they still offer the special. We got there and the server said "no we don't offer that anymore". So instead of getting ok food at a great rate, we got overpriced food at an overpriced rate. Average $20+ per person at dinner. Save your money. Go to Pier 57.
