ANSWER TO SOPHIA:
BTW ,HE is NOT the owner..the owner is a SHE(Kathy) and I know for a fact she would not have allowed his pushiness (not necessary).I have been frequenting this place since the beginning and my husband and I have always had  nice experiences and  meet really great people..love the crowd...You might want to give it another try,its a shame (if) he ruined it for you,Myke

COMFORT AND A VIEW
One long side of the Bella Vino bar and dining area has an view of the Morro Bay Embarcadero and ocean. Owner Kathy Cohen and GM/Sommelier Aaron Warren will cater to your every need.
Enjoy the ROCK show!!!!!!
Cozy place with a sunset view of Morro Rock that is to die for. Good service. Perhaps the best place in town to simply taste some wines pared with cheeses. They used to, somewhat reluctantly, let you order from the adjacent Di Stacio's menu. Not sure if that's still the case. Otherwise, limited menu.
Review Source:So seeing all these great reviews really made us want to check this place out. We normally always go to the Italian restaurant next door that we love so we had high expectations. Let me start off by saying their views are stunning! But that did not make up for how uncomfortable we felt. We walked in to a cheery ( possibly buzzed, smelled of wine) welcoming owner, but it ended there. We ordered a glass of wine ( $13 bucks for a short pour) and asked for some water. The girl came back shortly telling us how horrible morro bay water is ( btw we live here) and if we wanted to buy some bottled water. We passed and said forget the water, which she still brought after the rant about how nasty it was. Then we hear the owner pushing the girl to have us purchase a cheese plate, so she walks over ( we already know why of course) goes through the spiel she is required to say and we politely decline. Then 5 mins later she comes back asking if we want to get another glass of wine, which we decline since we had barely drink a sip off our current one. We continue to hear the owner talk to his staff about selling us a cheese plate, so he proceeds to them I will sell it. Of course again we know why he's there but we politely let him speak for 10 mins about this cheese plate and we decline again. He then goes back to his staff and says that has never happened, I have never been told no!! For real guy!! We go to get rung up and he asks where we are from and we state we live in morro bay, he says next time everything is on me! I guess that would be a great offer for someone, but not us. We will never ever go back. We have never felt so uncomfortable in our life! Mind you we love supporting or local business's but we will pass on this one. You know it's bad when my boyfriend that is super go with the flow complains( just a side note)! Â Breaks our heart because the place is beautiful and has amazing views.
Review Source:Just reminiscing about my last June trip to Morro Bay. Â This place was right across from where I was staying. Â
Went there to have a glass of wine and something light before dinner. Â Yup, did the right thing. Â The wine list was good but the smoked salmon on, I think, flatbread with creme fraiche was a mind blower in all respects, price, quality, quantity and flavor.
I could go back to Morro Bay just to load up on the smoked salmon Y'all ought to hurry and go there.
The view is spectacular,  the setting is  lovely, and the service is very friendly.  The only drawback is the strong smell of burnt oil coming from the not-too-clean looking panini machine - which is on the front counter right next to the display case for beautiful hand-dipped chocolates.  We like this place and want it to succeed, but this is a very unattractive/unpleasant feature.
