Bella Vita

I was excited to hear that Savannah now has an Italian restaurant.  I went in with low expectations yet still left disappointed. I'm giving two stars because the servers were very nice and attentive, but the quality of the food and the speed at which it was brought out deserve only one.  The fact that my friend and I were the only people in the restaurant should have been the first clue.  We placed our order and it took around 35 minutes to arrive.  I ordered the Chicken Marsala because I wanted the lovely wine taste that it's known for, but there was no wine flavor whatsoever.  Classic Chicken Marsala does come with an anchovy filet on top, which I enjoy, but this came out completely smothered in an anchovy paste.  There was fetuccini alfredo on the side, the cream sauce was oily and seperated.  Speaking of oil, the meal was practically swimming in a giant pool of it, please refer to the photo that I've uploaded.  At least the salad was fresh and crispy.
