LOL, the day after I write my review and list this Subway I have my first bad experience in over 20 visits...I'm not going to beat them up about it but it bears mentioning. Â Went in around 2 PM, ordered a sub and sat down in the virtually empty restaurant to enjoy wifi...3 minutes later a school bus pulls up (pre planned and staff was aware) and out pours 40 or 50 high school kids who take over the restaurant. Â The wifi either got bogged down, crashed or was shut off. Â I just left and went to the library.
When I ordered, it would have been nice to be advised of the impending infestation of school kids! Â I should have clued in that something was up as staff was harried and a little short with me. Â I was also less than impressed that the lady making my sandwich handled a slab of turkey then made my Veggie Sub with the same gloves.
All in all one crummy experience out of about 20 is still a pretty fantastic record, but staff could use some practice in keeping their good service after preparing a big order and maybe have given me a heads up before I ordered.
I'll still frequent this place on any future visits to Savannah.
