Yeah, it's OK Thai food. I like Rice & Spice in MoVal much better. Sometimes the service here is a bit offputting.

I ordered the tom kha ghai and crab fried rice. The chicken in the soup tasted funny as if it was old and it had a funky flavor to it. The crab fried rice was good. I would not recommend this place as I know the real awesomeness of Thai cuisine and this comes no where near!! The crew seem pretty nice though

The first time I came here, I left with my mouth so numb from the spiciness that I could have probably gotten five lip piercings and not feel it at all. We only ordered a "4" on a scale of "1-10".
I don't know about you, but the spicy scale here ranges from "blinding numbness" to "Afterlife" and I can tolerate heat pretty well.
I literally could not feel my tongue because my month was so numb but the only reason why I kept on eating was because it was soooo darn good. After a while though, once you mouth just gives up on life, you can actually taste the different flavors.

The second time I went, we weren't asked for spicy level so we just braced ourselves and prayed to the overlords however the food wasn't AT ALL spicy. Which was sightly disappointing since we wanted just a little kick. They do have little jars of sauces on the table and you can add that to your food for a little pain. ;)

Since the food was tolerable this time, we were actually able to TASTE all the flavors and by golly it was one of the best Thai places I have been to. We ordered the pineapple fried rice (amazing combination of curry, slight sweetness and tang from the large chunks of pineapple and raisins), Pad Se Ew (delicious combination of chicken and veggies) and chicken coconut soup Hot Pot (with mushrooms and tomatoes -- tangy but sweet and creamy, very savory). It was all outstanding and the portions are HUGE for a fair price.

I will DEFINITELY be back.

5 stars because it Definitely is the best thai spot in the inland empire/Riverside.. if you want anything better you will have to go to san gabriel valley/ LA

Great place especially for lunch, good service,

Can't go wrong with the red curry or stir fry pad prik.

Also, their thai iced tea here is probably the best i've had. Can't think of any place that makes it better

This place was tasty as it was pleasant!

The boyfriend and I shared Pinnapple rice and Yellow Curry!
Ahh complete decadence at its best! This place is a hidden gem for sure!
Bravo Best Thai Cuisine

Delicious, inexpensive, and decent service!

This restaurant isn't located in a noticeable plaza. In fact, it's located in the middle of nowhere on Spruce St. Although the location and interior isn't all too appealing, don't let it fool you!

I used to frequent this restaurant a lot while I was going to UCR because it's probably the "best Thai" place around for the price. They also have a section for lunch specials on the menu during the afternoon!

I've never had a bad experience here. The food was good all the times I've been here and I've been here A LOT the past 4 years. Good curry (especially the spicy ones), pad thai, pad kee mow, pad see ew, etc. My glass of water is always refilled promptly and the waitresses come around your table often to check up on you. The only negative thing I can think of about the food is the lack of tenderness of the meats (chicken and beef).

If you haven't tried their Tom Ka soup, I would definitely recommend it.

Bottom line: Best Thai is definitely one of my favorite restaurants around UCR.

Pad Thai is good. Spicy coconut soup is decent. But only if you like it though.

NOTE: Cash or debit card only.

I came here tonight for dinner and I had the pad see ew. My friends had pad thai and glass noodle pad thai. Don't get me wrong - the portions were HUGE! It was very filling and well worth your money. However, I was just set off by the fact that our plates came out just sweet. I would like some spiciness and some salt, but the sweet flavor became overpowering for us to handle.

I'm sure the other dishes here are great, but I'm just not a fan of "sweet" noodles.

It really is the BEST Thai. They have a lot to live up to because of their name... but they do it!

The dinner special is a great value. ~$10 for an entree of your choice (I'm partial to the red curry or pepper steak) and it comes with rice, egg roll, pad thai, and soup or salad (with delicious peanut dressing). We often get some wonton soup to share as well (just a bowl, not a hot pot). I've also heard great things about the pineapple fried rice, although I haven't tried it yet!

Definitely the best spot in Riverside for Thai!

Great restaurant with family service. All of the noodle dishes are amazing and the use no MSG!

It is in the middle of nowhere and the location is a little sketchy but it is so worth it.

Had lunch with my two teenage sons (the oldest is at UCR, really convenient location). Food was great , portions very generous. Highly recommend Pad Thai, especially if you like it with more sauce. Will definitely go back next time I am in Riverside.

I ordered pad thai to go. Fast service, and of note: cash and debit cards only.

The dish itself was alright. Not the most flavorful, but tasty and a good portion. Chicken only, no tofu or shrimp. Trying to eat it with the spork they gave me was difficult, but since I'm visiting from out of town, not much choice!

I give this place 3.5 stars. Boyfriend and I came here after our Big Bear trips to avoid rush hour traffic on the 215.

Service: Prompt, quick to seat and order, and pretty polite for an Asian place. Surprisingly, I have no complaints here.

Ambiance: I go to a lot of Thai places, and this place is pretty simply decorated; no frills, just basic. It doesn't really set the mood for a romantic dinner, but works great for lunch or a chat with a friend.

Food: Pretty freaking good! Pad thai is consistently good--well cooked, and not too sweet/salty, and just the right amount of tamarind. I am in the process of working my way through their different curries. Panang was good when I went last time; tonight I got the Chef Special. This combo is wonderful: soup or salad, egg roll, choice of entree, pad thai, and white/brown rice. You can also substitute fried rice for $2 extra. I opted for massaman curry--a bit on the salty side, but it does pack the same punch as the Tom Yum soup. So similar, in fact, that I question that they use the same base...

Price: On the cheaper side compared to SD, but maybe it's because they didn't splurge on decor and used that money on the ingredients? Anyway, it's worth it.

Best Thai.. Not really. I'm a fair person even when I'm pissed off.
The crappiest, dirtiest restaurant in Thai Town gets 5 stars compared to this place.
The food here is not authentic and more on line of Thai / Chinese cusine.
The first time I came here I had the garlic pepper delight which was too salty and soupy. I didn't think that a dish of this kind should be soupy. It drowned my rice into a soup. Should be cooked long enough to dry out the sauces. Not good at all.
Came here a second time. I ordered the Thai chicken bbq lunch special.
Our meals came to us by a different waitress that didn't take our order and give me the wrong dish. They gave me a dish full of bamboo shoots, brocolli, carrots, with barely an chicken in a thickened sauce that drowned the rice. I complained and the waitress gave me the stink eye insisting that the dish she dropped off is what I order. Pretty dumb. She wasn't even the one who took the order and my friend heard me right. I told her I wanted what my coworker was having. She said it would take 15 minutes. We didn't have a lot of time and had to get back to the office. So, I decided to keep the dish which I didn't really enjoy at all. Wasn't good. Half the dish was bamboo shoots in a thickned gravy that engulfed my rice. The original waitress did appolgize thinking what they gave me was the right order, however, the waitress who dropped off the food ignored me, refilled my friend's glass of water but didn't ask me, ignored me, and you could tell was piss off at me. Someone needs to grow up. For a mere couple of buck and little trouble that wasn't my mistake, the customer is wrong? Guess I won't be coming back. Maybe if this place was in Tim Buk Tu, it would be the Best Thai. Not in So Cal.

I really don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet. Without exaggerating, I've come here once a week for the past 6 months. My boyfriend is a fiend for thai food, and I swear he chose his current apartment based on proximity to Best Thai. I don't actually know if it is the best that food in Riverside, but the food is so good that I don't ever feel the urge to go somewhere else to find out. Service isn't all that remarkable, but every server is polite and efficient. The best deal to be found here is the weekday lunch special, which offers a pretty wide selection of main dishes, served with your choice of soup or salad with white rice and an egg roll for $6 or $7. They also have a special every day that includes the above listed and a generous serving of pad thai for $11. It is too much food for one person, which is maybe why we love it so.

Finally tried this place again and it still lives up to the hype =)

New item my friend and I tried: Tom-Yum soup with chicken and mushrooms http://www.yelp.com/user….

Thai-ice tea came with whipped cream on top http://www.yelp.com/user….

Make sure if you order Pad Thai http://www.yelp.com/user… and enjoy peanuts... ask for it. I think they leave it out just in case a customer is allergic to it.

Pad see ew http://www.yelp.com/user…. Still remains the best in my list. But the beef was tough... so I would avoid ordering the beef unless you enjoy tough, chewy meat.

Love the decoration and I believe they renovated with different furniture and a mirrored wall with flat screen TV now.

Cash and debit card only.

Great food! Especially the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao!!

My only disappointment is how they required me to leave my beverage (Starbucks) at the door or in the car. I don't know why it mattered that I leave the beverage elsewhere because I certainly did not order a beverage anyway. That pissed me off and impacted the gratuity. All because the restaurant thought that by pissing off the customer, the customer would spend $ on a beverage that was not even desired. Sorry, not going to happen. In this economy, they should not haggle customers over $2 worth of potential business just because they want to prove a point.

LOVE this place!!
It's very close to UC Riverside campus. One of the best pad thais ever!! Their plates are affordable served in good portions. They also have great deals for lunch specials. I highly recommend their chef special if you want to eat there for dinner. It comes with a full sized entree (with rice), soup/salad, pad thai and egg roll for about $13-15...such a great deal!! I recommend getting the pad prik pow if you get the chef special. Their Thai iced tea is also very popular.

You know its good Thai food when you can smell it from the parking lot. Whats that? I'll tell you what it is! It smells like Thai food, all the way out in the freakin ride park! So at 1st I tried their beef panang. Its straight up panang done right. So much pan and all kinds of ang. Then I tried the glass noodle pad thai. Soooo gooood. Don't worry its soft glass. . .noodles. The lunch specials are priced about the same as if I collected all the change under my sofa cushions, so thats a plus.
The ambiance is what you expect from a Thai restaurant, limited seating so expect a line during lunch and dinner. A line means people are willing to leave their reality TV shows to eat at here.

Great restuarant! Humbly hidden in a little tiny strip of businesses, but very good service, and excellent food.
Started our meal with Thom-Kha-Kai, and the soup was coconut creamy, spicy, and chicken was tender. Our group quickly finished the soup.
"Best Hot Basil Mint Leaf" with Calamari was EXCELLENT (calamari was actually soft and tender), and great flavor (side note: being cautious, we ordered "hot", and it wasn't that hot. If you truly like heat, ask to make it slightly hotter)
The Thai BBQ Chicken is a MASSIVE portion of two large bone-in chicken breasts and a side of thai sweet/sour sauce...really good.
The Roasted Duck Red Curry was delicious, and had great flavor. Presentation on all dishes was excellent too.
Staff was attentive, polite, friendly, and stayed late to accomodate us (they close at 9pm...and we arrived just past 8:30pm...and after cooking our food, we saw the all-thai kitchen crew pack up and leave while we were still savoring the delicious food)
Absolute fan of this restaurant!

I only come to riverside to visit my boyfriend, but what is their to do then go out to eat?
We have yelped and tried all the places near the university, but then he takes me here!

Hidden Jewel! Who knew that their could be the "Best" thai cuisine right smack in the middle of a business center. I can say it is the Best thai food in Riverside.

We ordered:
-Tom Ka Kai Soup - Vegetarian extra mushrooms! Trust me get extra mushrooms (: not that they don't give enough mushrooms already, I just love taking a sip of the soup along with a mouth full of rice and a mushroom!
-Panang Curry? is that how you spell it? Well this is the first place he tried the panang curry and he brought me here to try it! I am not usually a fan of curry but with the addition of coconut milk I found an exception!
-Side of rice- needed for soup and curry

Definitely excited that their is another yummy place in Riverside we can dine at!

I'm picky with my pad thai. I don't like it too saucy or too sweet or too salty (I don't think it's supposed to be salty, actually, but I don't know) and most restaurants get it wrong. The only place I've ever liked getting my pad thai at is Thai Spice, but since there isn't one in Riverside, I tried this place out.

Note: This place doesn't give you the option of different levels of spiciness. It just comes sweet. I wish it came spicy!

At $8, the pad thai was perfect! It was well-presented (I don't usually dwell on the presentation), but it caught my eye. I like that they put the crushed nuts and carrots and whatnot on the side instead of mixed in with the pad thai like some places do. The portion was decent too. I ate 3/4 and took the rest home (in a tiny, tiny to-go box). I stuck it in the microwave for 45 seconds the next day and it tasted just as good as it did the day before.

I also ordered a small bowl of rice (extra charge of $1) because the pad see ew was too saucy and water. Water tasted very tap-water-ish. Is there a word for that? The flavor of the meal distracted me from the metallic taste of the water.

All in all, I'd come here again. And again. And again. Cause honestly, how many places can you get good pad thai at?

I listened to the Yelpers and ordered the drunken noodles w/ Chicken. It was super tasty!!! I would go here again - great food, great value, good portions.

We went there early - around 11:30 - the place was a little chilly - I would suggest a sweater (it was HOT outside).

I have been here multiple times so it is safe to say this place is a tastey go-to place when it comes to Thai food. Their portions are large and get you pretty stuffed. Also, their pricing is extremely fair. I really enjoy their Pad Thai!
The only concern I have is their location but there isn't much they can do unless they pick up their entire business and move the the Canyon Crest Area (Nicer part of Riverside.)

I've dined here twice already for lunch, and the Thai Cuisine is quite good and the prices are reasonable.

My fave so far is the red curry.

Service is friendly and fast, but because this is such a great place to get Thai food, it's typically crowded. Yet, it didn't take an outrageously long time to get a table.

I highly recommend this place for the reasonable prices, the food, and the customer service.

Best Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in Riverside. Some people fuss about how Riverside lacks good eateries, but I still haven't found a Thai restaurant that tastes better than this place. I am a huge fan of Thai restaurants so I've been to many places in L.A., but Best Thai wins hands down.

My two favorite dishes are Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry. I think their Mango with Sticky Rice is great! Depending on what time you visit, the service can be good and bad. However, overall, 9 out of 10 times I've been here, I have been extremely satisfied with their service.

I also can never resist ordering a cup of Thai Iced Tea!

I love everything about his place.

I loved the rad na, pad thai, and pad se ew, especially when I opted for tofu because it is grilled! I have never been to any other Thai place that served grilled tofu

There's one thing that I really like about most the Thai restaurants in Riverside, But this one in particular does the entree best. The soup here is a tad more traditional (but tasty)!! and they don't have my fave (custard and sticky rice) but all that aside the Thai Tea is awesome! its got that Yummy crunchy ice in it and a little whip cream on top! The curry is much more intricate than its neighborhood competition, The place IMO does live up to its name.
LUNCH WARNING: This place is BUSY. its packed from the moment they open til well after 1, the wait staff does a great job but the place is just packed with people and the spots are rather small. Takeouts a god idea if your at all claustrophobic or want to stretch out

Definitely do not like this place.

Service:
Not so sure on the service, because it was a long time ago. Last time I went a few months ago I ordered to-go.

Cashier:
Very helpful, but I despise that they charge around $1 or more for credit cards. Seriously?

Environment:
Pretty nice and small. There are chairs and booths along with a mirror on the wall once you enter the place.

Ordered:
Pad see ew- Pretty disgusting, I'm not sure if they even know how to cook this properly, but they definitely need to reconsider this dish. I pretty much ate/tasted chili sauce, because there was absolutely no taste to this dish. I even asked for extra chili sauce and they gave me this small container the size of a dime.

Chicken curry- ordered this dish awhile ago, but I still believe that it tasted similar to water.

**Disappointed. There are plenty of other Thai places around the area, so I would advise going to those. Honestly, At Thai or craving Thai around the University Village tasted better. There is one in Moval that is amazing! Look for the review if I get to it!

I orderd the Pad woo sen, their sweet and sour chicken wings, green curry, thai ice tea boba, and thai ice tea vanilla float; everything is DELICIOUS.
the second time going there I ordered the shirmp tempura, shrimp spicy fried rice, prawn best delight gralic and pepper, and a Thai ice tea and everything is DELICIOUS. When i ordered the prawn best delight garlic and pepper I didn't even want to finish it because I wanted to savor every bite that was given to me. It was so sad to see it go.

I LOVE this place! I just wish that they'd open another one that's closer to me. I only found out about this place because my bf used to go to UCR and he'd come here a lot. Now I know why!

To start off with, the soup( Tom yum kai) that comes with the meal is absolutely delicious. If I remember correctly, you get to choose between soup or salad. It is a bit sour and spicy, like regular tom yum, but with lots of chicken in them. Often times, 1 bowl is not enough, for me at least! But you can definitely order to-go if needed! Not to mention that the to-go boxes are super cute too haha

My favorites from this place include their Pad kee mow( w/ beef), Beef Panang curry, and Massaman curry. Yum...my stomach is already growling thinking about it! I'm not even kidding!

As always, prepare to ask for lots of napkins as you'd be sniffling the whole time with their spicy but absolutely delightful food!

On a hot day, you can never go wrong with their Thai iced tea as well! It's very aromatic, and helps tone down the spiciness from the food. They also like to top if off with some whip cream, which btw tastes delicious as well. It's not your average Starbucks whip cream... Mixing in the whipcream with the thai tea makes the drink tastes even better.

Service is also wonderful here, so come hungry and leave happy!

I ordered take-out from here today and it was pretty yummy. When I came to pick up my food, there were many people dining in. It must be the place to get Thai food in the area. For some reason I wasn't expecting this restaurant to be in this industrial looking area.

Anyway, the Pad Thai was decent. My friend got the Yellow Curry with chicken and rice. She noted how yellow it looked. She seemed to enjoy it though.

I think the name of the restaurant is pretty funny--obviously subjective title. But they're psychologically brain washing you to think that it is the best Thai cuisine ever. Are you alright with that?

I would come back again even though my Pad Thai was so-so.
Prices are good. For 2 orders of Pad Thai and 1 Yellow curry--$27. Not bad.
Not sure if this is a gem in Riverside, learning towards not.

Kind of what you'd expect from a Thai place.. slightly strange decor with humble service.

We tried 3 dishes here:
Pad Prik King - not nearly enough beef as the photo showed! maybe 1:2 meat:veg ratio. The sauce in this was very spicy. Crunchy green beans are a good sign.

Pad Thai - I liked that the noodles were still chewy. Some places boil them until they're incredibly soft. It came with shredded cabbage and carrots which I wasn't used to. It was slightly heavy on the fish sauce (or something else very pungent) but it tasted pretty good nonetheless.

Yellow Curry w/chicken - An almost neon-yellow with a slight tint of green made me feel like this wasn't natural looking. The chicken was a bit dried out. It was OK, not one of the best curries I've had.

I'm never really in this area, but if I returned I would probably try a different place.

Best Thai Cuisine offers up all the basic Thai dishes Americans have come to love at very affordable prices and they do it FAST. It's like they're having a going out of business sale for freshly made food. Only they aren't going out of business- they are thriving. The tables are almost always full of loud, laughing college student giddy with joy at their ability to eat out.

The first time I ate here I ordered take out. Having visited the newer Moreno Valley location, I had high expectations. The place was packed. I placed my order (Padt Ki Mow and Chicken Satee) and handed over my credit card. 10 bucks- no joke. $11 for a huge pile of food AND an appietizer! The lovely young woman taking my order said it would be out in 10 minutes. I took another glance around the jam-packed room and thought she was crazy. 7 minutes later I was walking out with my yummy-smelling food and a huge smile.

The food is good, but by no means stellar. Still, for a good, filling, affordable meal in a jiffy, it's perfect.

The Skinny:
--now accepting credit cards!
--open for lunch & dinner
--wheelchair accessible (though room is tight)
--large private lot for parking
--fast take-out
--does NOT take reservations

The food's not bad here, not the "best", but not bad.

I feel like a giant coming here because this place is so small and crowded. Plus they just added in booths, which made it more crowded...fire hazard i say.

The workers here are very friendly. They always refilled my water without me constantly asking them. I like how they come over once in a while to see how were doing instead of not coming over at all or coming over every 5 minutes.

Food here is legit. Not that bad for a thai restaurant in riverside. Their thai tea is delish, freshly made and really good. Also, try their thai iced coffee.

Lunch Special for $6.95 comes with steamed rice, egg roll, and either soup or salad. The lunch portion is kinda small but can fill up a small person, not so much for a hungry person. These are the ones I have tried so far:
-THAI BBQ CHICKEN: Charbroiled chicken with marinated Thai style

-RED CURRY: Choice of meat in red curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoot, bell pepper, zucchini, jalapeno, chili and lime leaf

-GREEN CURRY:Choice of meat in green curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoot, zucchini, bell pepper, jalapeno and sweet basil

-YELLOW CURRY;Choice of meat with yellow curry paste, coconut milk, potato, ginger, carrot and onion

-PA-NANG CURRY: Roasted beef chunk in red curry paste and coconut milk

-SWEET AND SOUR: Choice of meat sauted with pineapple, bell pepper, carrot and onion with home-made sweet & sour sauce

-BROCCOLI WITH OYSTER SAUCE: Stir-fried beef, broccoli with home-made gravy sauce

-PAD-PRIK-PAOW: Choice of meat stir-fried with chili paste, soya bean oil and sweet basil

-PAD-PRIK-KING:Choice of meat stir-fried with red chili paste and green bean

-HOUSE SPECIAL DELUXE: Stir-fried chicken, mushroom, bamboo shoot, babycorn, onion and carrot in home-made gravy sauce served over rice

-CHICKEN CASHEW NUT: Sauted chicken with cashew nuts, carrot, onion, bell pepper and roasted chili

If anything, you cant go wrong with the pineapple fried rice which is stir-fried rice with shrimps and chicken, pineapple, cashew nuts and raisins with curry powder or pad thai.

I have a love/hate relationship with Best Thai.
Love- You truly are the best.
Hate- Now that I've moved, I can' find anyone that can compare to you. Why do you hate me?

ON TO THE FOOD!
Everything is good AND decently priced here, you can't go wrong with any selection. If you have trouble choosing my favorites are:
-Chef Special Cashew Chicken, comes with Pad Thai, Rice, Egg Roll, and choice of soup or salad ( a meal that can feed two for $12.95)
-Masaman Curry: It's creamy, sweet, and loaded with potatoes and chicken. This is actually the only place I would ever get this dish, everywhere else makes it taste like dessert.
-House Salad: they use some type of peanut Dressing on it that makes it taste so delicious and healthy at the same time
-Pad See Ew: perfect amount of sweetness, chicken, and veggie
-Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice: comes with chicken, cashew, pineapple, raisin, curry powder, and usually comes in a pineapple
-Last but not least, THAI TEA: Don't hesitate, just get it.

SERVICE!
Pretty good guys; Water refilled without my asking, asking if everything was good/needed anything else (without asking too many times),helpful in answering any and all questions, no wait time for ordering or bill payment = A+ service

PAYMENT!
Bring cash folks, they don't accept card unless above $25 (don't quote me on that). If you forget, no worries, there's an atm machine inside the restaurant for your convenience.

IF YOU PLAN TO HAVE A LARGE PARTY HERE!
Not knowing anything, I planned my birthday party here based on good food alone. To my luck, they had a banquet room on the other side of the restaurant that could accommodate my party of 28. They let me hook up my laptop to their stereo system so I could play whatever music I wanted with their free wifi. The managers were helpful each step of the way and the best part: they even gave me a free birthday dessert!

THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD TIMES!!
