Vegan pizza-lovers rejoice! If you've lamented the lack of hearty plant-based pizza options in the Inland Empire then Cheezy Pizza is nothing short of a miracle.  My hubby and I couldn't decide between the Mediterranean or the Chicken Alfredo pizzas so we got a 14" half and half. The Mediterranean was so chock full of toppings I'm surprised the slice didn't fall apart when I picked it up! It was an explosion of intense flavors in my mouth and the soft, salty/sweet crust was the perfect complement. The Chicken Alfredo was comfort food at its best: creamy, rich, and delicious.

We also ordered their jalapeño poppers (which looked more like empanadas) that came with vegan ranch dressing. They were good, but not the highlight of the meal by any means. We also had a piece of vegan banana bread that was very tasty (it had chocolate in it, of course it was tasty!).

The service was excellent; the staff was very friendly and answered all of our "we're-new-here" questions and then some. The place itself isn't exactly warm and inviting, so if you're looking for ambiance I'd say order to-go and light some candles at home. But if it's spectacular vegan pizza you're after, then look no further than Cheezy Pizza!

Read the good reviews and thought I would drive over and give it a shot. Ordered the Vegan Daiya Cheese Pizza and it was quite good. I forget about this place as the location is not close to any other place I visit. Very helpful person took my order and they promptly made my order.

I will give it another try when I plan on being in the area.

So I moved to Riverside for school, and thought nothing could touch my hometown's Vegan/Vegetarian options. Well I was proved wrong when it came to pizza. This pizza shop has its own Vegan/Vegetarian menu and not just one pizza option.

I am a very picky eater. I have a certain diet and if the food does not taste to my satisfaction I will refuse to eat it. I have no clue what that other person was talking about in regards to Vegan cheese. Daiya is super tasty, and melts great. (This coming from a person who has tried all kinds of crappy vegan cheese)

I've tried ordering a different vegan pizza just to see which one I like most. I'm not a huge fan of mock meat/protein, but theirs is edible. I guess I'm really big on packing on the veggies.

Their Jalapeno poppers are to die for. I have a high tolerance for spicy food, but I prefer to add in mushrooms in my poppers. They do not look like the traditional poppers my Momma Dukes makes. They are more like an empanada. Either way they melt in my mouth.

Bottom line I am all for supporting a mom & pop shop. The owners seem to be a family with drawings of trains behind the counter. I assume their child has drawn. This spot is near the train tracks so I'm guessing this is what's inspired this young artist. It's a neat little place & town. I'd rather eat here then some lame, generic strip mall, and as long as the food is great I'll keep coming back.
