This place had been recommended, and we hadn't gotten to it yet until tonight. Delicious! And, the food is not only perfectly seasoned and flavorful, it's good for you as well. Good choices for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The meat is locally-sourced when possible; she serves bison which she gets from the Asheville area. Many choices for the gluten-intolerant, as much of the menu does not contain wheat and there are no refined grains. Cafeteria-style, so you can see what you might wish to eat. I got the smart salad bowl, which was delicious and filling, with brown rice on the bottom, greens, nuts and veggies on top. My daughter went with the crab cakes, which she said were perfect, and the elbow macaroni with goat cheese and tomato sauce. We both splurged on a custard dessert, very rich and delicious. I couldn't resist  trying cinnamon raisin and it didn't disappoint. A good selection of beer and wine considering the tiny size of the place. And Chef Angela and her husband are terrific, friendly people, very knowledgable about eating healthy while eating yummy as well.
Review Source:Great preparations of local meats and vegetables. No frills, friendly and tasty.
A very welcome addition to the area. Worth a drive from Greenville and only minutes from Clemson, this little hole-in-the-wall is a great treat.
Have a cocktail next door at the really cute Red Minnow, then slide on into Angela's kitchen for a lush meal.
Can't wait to head back for the duck and more!
