Bi-Lo Foods

Prices are a bit higher but their reduced items are great steals! They have the BEST cooked whole chickens in the area. Slow-cooked on a rotisserie, they fall off the bone, melt in your mouth and are just downright delicious! Only about $5.

This was the grocery store I grew up with.  Of course, in my younger years it was called Riverside, then changed to Bi-Lo.  

Locals like to refer to this place as Bi-High.  The prices aren't always the lowest here, they really don't have much competition in town, Giant Eagle is about two miles away further down into town.  The store is small in comparison to other stores and believe it or not, before the remodel a few years back it was smaller.  Selection is good for a store in a small town like this, but don't expect to find all the national brands that you would like.
