Big Bubba Burgers

How can you go wrong with a name like Bubba Burgers!  The burgers here are not only the best on or off the peninsula but probably among the very best in the entire state!  The place takes you back to the early 1960's, a not too cool looking roadside joint, kind of dark and danky, but the burgers are totally awesome!  My all time favorite and one that I drive over 30 miles to have on a weekly basis, is the double bacon cheese burger!   It's to die for and only cost $5.99.  The bun is toasted, the bacon crisp with totally fresh lettuce and tomato. There shakes, fries and onion rings are also in a class by themselves.  For the many, many restaurants that serve very basic, very tasteless and overpriced burgers, take the time, visit Bubba's and I guarantee you'll try to copy their burgers.

This is the place we go when we need to feed our inner burger.Still the best burger in the canal area.Big fat juicy burgers on a a fresh Kaiser style bun,the shakes are awesome.I cannot eat a whole burger,they are huge hand made burgers and are always fresh and never see a heat lamp as they are only made to order.My inner burger lover rates this place the best within driving distance for me.

We stopped here on our way to the ocean and we weren't disappointed.  I was looking for just this kind of place when my stomach started growling 20 miles earlier.  I'm glad it's there!

The fry on the onion rings, fish sandwich, and deep fried pickles was the absolute perfect crispness and flavor. So. Dang. Good.  I might even say that it was good enough to make a trip over here just to eat them all up. Yum.

Order a chocolate-peppermint shake, too.  It's like a york peppermint patty shake.
