Big Dawg's Chuck Wagon Cafe

Big Dawg's is the place to be for breakfast this is the type of place were all the locals go and a kind of place where everyone knows everyone. There breakfast burritos are huge and not to mention delicious, there huevos rancheros is also really good.

This is a great little place.  We had breakfast here twice on our trip to the Santa Fe area.  Good basic mexican food, excellent sopapillas.  We will certainly go back when we are in the area again.

For the past three to four years when I come to Espanola to visit, we always have to go to Big Dawg's for breakfast.  The breakfast burrito smothered in cheese and red chile is to die for!!  It is awesome!!  I've even packed up a cooler on my way out of town in order to take a little piece of Big Dawg's with me.  From the outside, it looks like it would be a dive.  But trust me, you will not be disappointed.  The red chile is the best in the area.
