Amazing food!!! I was very happy to see a family owned establishment that took great pride in their business. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. Ribs are finger lickin' good!

If could rate this 0 stars, I would.  The BBQ is precooked, kept cold, and possibly a few days old.  I ordered to go, and they asked if I wanted it warmed up in the microwave or if I wanted it cold.  Of course I wanted hot food!!!  Plus, they advertise on their billboard and sign that they have chicken.  Both times I went there... Guess what, no chicken.  Brisket was tough and not good.
There is usually only one worker there who both serves and heats up the precooked cold food.  She is nice.

Overall, Don't waste your time.  Durant only 20 miles away has great bbq restaurants around the same price.  It thought it expensive for the quality and selection is limited.

There's two things we love in America, BBQ and Bigfoot.  In Caddo Oklahoma those two things converge at a roadside BBQ restaurant called Bigfoot Barbecue.  No they didn't catch Bigfoot and barbecue him, but they did make a mean plate of roadside BBQ.

The restaurant is located between Durant Oklahoma and the middle of no where.  So that puts it maybe 15 minutes north of Durant on Highway 69.  If you're going north its easy to get to because its on your side of the highway.  If you are going south, keep an eye out and be ready to make an almost immediate u-turn at the crossover right past the restaurant.  Don't blink because its easy to miss while driving 70mph.

Its very possible while you're there you may be the only person in the building.  Don't be scared, you're north of nowhere and there's just not a lot of people.  The restaurant is a quiet spot, maybe a bit too quiet if you're the only person in the dining room.  Maybe they could have some barbecue appropriate country going in the dining room in the future.  Its table service so there's a waiter, who's probably also the cook, the expo, the runner and maybe the dishwasher.  The service was prompt, the orders took a bit to get to the table but we had a big table (7 people) and may have overwhelmed the kitchen a bit.

There's plenty to choose from on the menu.  The BBQ choices as I remember them were: Sliced Brisket, Chopped Brisket, Loin, Ribs, and maybe a chicken and a sausage.  They had sides a plenty, probably more than you'd expect from a BBQ joint.  You could order dinner style plates with two sides, sandwiches which have no sides, and kids meals too.  They had Coke products and cold dark iced tea in both sweet and unsweet flavors.

I had the sliced brisket and ribs on a two meat plate.  The ribs were great, they were falling off the bone.  I was served three large ribs with the two meat plate.  This was a good portion considering some places charge extra if you order the ribs.  I also had the sliced brisket as my other meat choice.  The brisket was a bit dry almost like it sat a bit too long in the cooker or the fat was stripped before cooking.  But it had good taste and was easily revived with a bit of their delicious homemade BBQ Sauce.  Speaking of BBQ Sauce, theirs was thick and sweet with a bit of kick at the end.

Those people at the table that ordered sandwiches got one of the bigger sandwiches that I've seen served from a BBQ joint.  So often places charge 5 bucks for a chopped brisket sandwich and give you a small bun and no meat.  This was NOT the case at Bigfoot's.  There was a huge bun and lots of chopped brisket on the sandwich.  Ask them for pickles and onions along with some of the delicious BBQ Sauce and you have a real nice sandwich.

If you like sides there were plenty to choose from.  Many of them were delicious fried things.  Fried Green Beans, Fried Corn Nuggets, French Fries, and Tater Tots just to name a few.  They had the requisite coleslaw and potato salad too.  Try the fried pickles, they were cut thick and had a bit of pepper in the batter.

Overall, BIgfoot's BBQ was a pretty awesome place to eat.  Its a bit off the beaten path for most, but honestly most of Oklahoma is off the beaten path to city folk like me.  You may not be able to catch Bigfoot but you sure can catch a bite of his delicious BBQ next time you're in southeast Oklahoma.
