I went here for the Superbowl. had their All-I-Could-Eat Hot Wings. So they had several flavors: Mild Buffalo, Hot Buffalo, Teriyaki, Burbon, BBQ, Thai, Sweat Hot, Blow your Brains out Hot, Hell Hot...  I tried Buffalo Hot, Burbon, Teriyaki and Sweat Hot. My Favorite was the Sweat Hot.

My wife, Aunt and I had a Wing-Off...  My wife had 1, Aunt had 34 and I had 41... So I guess I like them. They were good, and they were local. These were Real Wings too, the ones with bones in em.

    ---

On with the Burgers. So, they have burgers, and some more burgers, and just a tad bit more burgers to choose from. They also have Sammiches. Haven't tried them yet. I also hear they make a mean breakfast.

They make there own Jalapeno Buns. I went with a burger that had pepper jack, jalapenos and some meat. I can't believe how big it was.

The second time I got the skamania burger. Ham, Egg, Bacon, Burger and some green stuff. Too big to fit in mouth, had to remove green stuff. You can get tators, french fries, or onion rings for your side.

Been in a couple of times.

First time was for breakfast, I had the French Toast...made with pumpkin spice bread!!  Very rich, and didn't end up being my cup of tea really, but I totally appreciate outside-the-box thinking on menus.

Super Bowl Sunday, they had an all-you-can-eat wing special for $10.  I don't eat wings (meat on the bone creeps me out, post-vegetarian-stress-disorder) but the Hubby does so of course we go!  They had about 8 different sauces to choose from, and the ones I tasted (using a fry as a buffer) were pretty dang good.  Hubby was in wing heaven, and they seemed a bit taken aback that he managed to go through about 3.5 baskets (like 35 wings)...guys, don't throw out an all-you-can-eat challenge if you're not ready for the challengers, am I right??  Hubby didn't eat anything else and there's not a whole lot of meat on a wing, it takes a bunch to fill up the Hubby!

I had the classic cheeseburger, and it was delicious.  Cooked perfectly, bun toasted, toppings fresh.  It comes with just mayo and I found it didn't need any additional condiments, which hardly ever happens.  Fries were crisp and perfect to my liking.

The atmosphere is, well, bad.  The booth seats are ripped, the service shelf place is right in the front/middle of the restaurant, it's badly in need of a make-over.  Get over it though.  The friendly service and family feel will make up for it.  There's two tv's in the front section, and windows everywhere for you to soak up the beautiful Gorge views, so just stop looking at the stupid ripped seats, ok?!

Bonus -- they serve their water in GIANT glasses.  Finally, a place that gets it!!  I wasn't constantly running out of water, and that was very...refreshing.

We just moved to town and with Big T's being within walking distance, my husband and I thought we would have a Sunday morning breakfast out.Unfortunately, I can not review the food here as we were left at our table (with only 2 other tables of patrons) for 20 minutes while the waitstaff ignored us and the cooks looked directly at us (we had that "can we get some help?" posture) with only backs turned towards us. Our waitress was too busy chatting to the other waitress on shift to take our order. On our way out the door, our waitress did not even recognize us and said "thank you, have a nice day!". I guess I502 is really affecting their staff already.
It is too bad that Big T's did not give us the courteous service they seem to give so many reviewers here. No matter how close Big T's is to our new home, we will not go back due to the lack of customer service alone.

The locals in Stevenson, Washington all said that BIG T'S DINER was the best place in town for some good grub. So we ventured out of the hotel for some lunch after our meeting and headed "downtown."

Their menu was actually quite impressive. I'd guess they have 15 different burgers on it. I ended up ordering the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger (on a jalapeno cheddar roll) with fries. It was huge and juicy. Honestly, a really good homemade burg.

One of my co-workers got the Hell Burger, which had jalapeno jack, jalapenos (with hella seeds), and a habanero salsa. She loves spicy stuff, and she couldn't hang with the salsa. She said it made her lips numb at first bite. But she still enjoyed it.

I was all set to give Big T's a great five-star review - until my other co-worker got his order. It was the Philly Cheese Steak. I shit you not, the grease flowing out of this sandwich was horrifying. HORRIFYING. I seriously felt bad for him as I orgasmed my way through my fantastic burger - and then I looked over at his mess. It made me want to crap my pants just looking at it. Gotta dock a point for that.

    4 Stars

I dare you to finish the Mt St Helens breakfast!  No, wait, I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU!   If you know me you know that I'm a B I G guy and there is almost no limits to the amount of food I can slam down my gullet to my ample sized holding tank.  I had trouble with this breakfast.

I am getting ahead of myself, lets start from the beginning.  I was in Stevenson on business and before I got started I needed breakfast.  I had left Vancouver before the sun was up and was thinking about driving thru at some lowly place (you know who you are) but I kept procrastinating (something I excel at).  Before I knew it I was beyond civilization and decided to hit something in Stevenson.  I whoa'd up the mighty Yelpmobile and checked my Yelp Mobile App and found this place.  Since it is at the far eastern edge of town I'm glad I looked at my app because I would have settled for something else.

You walk in and it is a total diner feel, the tables and booths and the feel of the place just reeks of classic diner.  You get your menu and you start to feel a very Pacific Northwest vibe as well, and then you look up out of the window at the view of the river and you realize you are sitting in a gem of a place.  If that's not cool enough for you the wait staff comes to your table and they are attentive and friendly and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time.

The Mt St Helens breakfast is two eggs prepared any style, a breakfast meat, hashbrowns and a biscuit & gravy.  I order scrambled eggs and ham for my meat.  The eggs were prepared folded over like a omlette, the ham was a big thick chunk about the size of a man's hand, the hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, just perfect.  The biscuit and gravy was HUGE!  It was just one biscuit but it was the size of a medium pancake and split in two.  The gravy was a ham gravy and it was perfectly seasoned, the right consistency and just set your taste-buds reeling.  Everyone's breakfast looked great that I saw being delivered to a table and I never heard one complaint.

You can easily drive by this place, it has an unassuming look to it.  Here's a tip for you, if you see the hardware store you're either 25 feet away from it heading west or you just passed it heading east.  This a place worth driving to just for breakfast before a trip to the fish ladder (Washington side is best) or a hike on the many hiking trails around.

You MUST eat here! This place is amazing! The breakfast was HUGE and delicious too! Quality along with quantity! The diner is cute inside and has that old fashioned feeling, but updated and clean. The staff was friendly and made you feel like family. The view was awesome too! We will make the trip from Portland for Big T's!

Heed the caution about the size of portions!  We each ordered..... so now we'll have breakfast tomorrow at home with the leftovers!
Wonderfully nice waitress, great food!  Well worth the stop!

This is the place for breakfast in Stevenson.  It's where the locals go for unpretentious breakfasts at reasonable prices.  The portions are huge so order accordingly.  Everything from pancakes to eggs were cooked just right.  Like.

We ate here for breakfast. The food was so good, we ate here for breakfast two days in a row! Both days the service was friendly and the food was Delicious with a capital D! The waitress pointed out a bald eagle perched in a tree next to the Columbia River. We especially enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes--the chocolate chips were big. Take the waitress's advice; the portions are huge. Order a small drink for the kids; they're surprisingly large! This is a great local place that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable.

Service was excellent, good food (fresh), big portions, only downside is how it looks.  Almost didn't stop because of it. Inside is a bit plain and feels empty.  Other than that, great experience. We're glad we tried it.
